 Check trailer tyre pressures BEFORE towing. Drain the roller water tank.
 Ensure trailer and towing vehicle are both positioned on firm, level ground.

Mudguard
 fig.3 - Ensure handles on sprung plungers are in loaded position (J), and slowly drive
roller up ramp until sprung plungers have locked drum into position.
 Allow machine to tilt forwards until front parking prop (H) rests on trailer drawbar,
(fig.2).
Tubular Props (H) - Close the prop clamp (C), to allow the locating pin (F) to enter
the locking hole. Secure pin using the spring pin (G).
 Lift the ramp up and lock it into position using the two locking arms (B) and spring

 fig.4 - Ensure prop stand (M) has been retracted and clamped in its highest position (L).
 Before towing roller ensure the secondary coupling cable (N) has been securely
connected to the towing vehicle.

 Ensure trailer and towing vehicle are positioned on firm, stable ground. C

 Release the ramp (fig.1), prop clamp (L) into position (M), prop stand clamp (fig.2)
and sprung plungers (K).
 Start the engine and slowly reverse the roller off the trailer. F
Unhitching Trailer
 Before unhitching the trailer and towing vehicle must be positioned on firm,
level ground.
 If the trailer is to be unhitched from a towing vehicle with the roller still in position
the prop stand MUST be lowered, securely clamped and then extended until
weight is safely supported, (fig.4). Once unhitched the trailer may be

Before Using the Trailer Check

 There are no loose, missing parts, or any damaged components or dangerous faults.
 The towing eye is free from damage.
 Tyres and wheels are free from damage and tyres are inflated correctly.
 Sprung plungers are free, greased and working correctly.
 The drawbar prop stand and clamp is free from damage, is working correctly and the
draw bar pin is available. J
 Wheel nuts are tight and the wheel bearings do not have excessive play.
 Lighting boards, cables, plug etc. are working and free from damage.
