There is a lot of significant new construction underway in Sta Rosa City, including new
parks and shopping areas. As a result, Laguna is becoming increasingly crowded.
Traffic jams are now more common due to higher numbers of residents in the area.
With more people living in Laguna, waste management has become a challenge. Trash
is not always properly disposed of, which contributes to flooding in some parts of
Laguna. This affects squatters' areas in particular. Going forward, infrastructure and
sanitation efforts will need to scale to support the rising population in a sustainable way.
Coordinated public and private initiatives can help address the growing issues of
congestion, cleanliness and flood risk faced by the community. Migration has
negatively impacted Laguna through the destruction of natural resources. The once
grassy fields of Sta. Rosa are now dusty construction sites for future commercial
developments.

enterprises. Toyota Motors Philippines, Honda Cars Philippines, Nissan Motors Philippines,
and Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation are all headquartered in Santa Rosa,
called the "Motor City of the Philippines." All of these contribute to 95% of total
automobile output in the nation.

Enchanted Kingdom is one of the many reasons Santa Rosa has been on everyone's
radar for so long. Nuvali is another well-known development in Laguna's downtown. It is
a master-planned residential, commercial, and recreational development complex that
has pretty much everything a tourist looking for a good time might want.
The Paseo de Sta. Rosa is a shopaholic's dream. The Paseo de Sta. Rosa is frequently
referred to as the Philippines' outlet capital. It features three outlet stores that house
various brands under one roof, as well as a dozen companies that have their own stores.
Santa Rosa is a city that blends economic success, entertainment, and shopping. Its
sophisticated and commercialized lifestyle, as well as its strategic position and booming
industry, combine to make it a notable and active region of the Philippines.

the West Valley fault, which runs between the town of Sto. Domingo.
