2 Check concrete sub-floor properly cleaned & brushed 3 Bricks - wetted before laying 4 Damp proof course coated with hot bitumen for 1st layer of brickwork at GFL 5 230mm thick brickwork shall be in English Bond 6 115mm thick brickwork shall be in Stretcher Bond 7 Exmet at every fourth course 8 All pointings of joints must be properly sealed-up (without see-through gaps) 9 R6 wall tie X 450mm long @ approx 1m c/c 10 Lintel beams shall be on top of window/door/any opening areas / size and end bearing sufficient 11 Ensure RC stifenners are provided as per drawings 12 Interlocking bricks for corner of two brick walls.
