What is the law of
attraction?
The Law of Attraction is a powerful principle that
suggests that like attracts like. In other words, the
thoughts and emotions you put out into the universe
shape your reality and attract similar experiences and
circumstances into your life. By harnessing the power
of your thoughts and beliefs, you have the ability to
manifest your desires and create the life you truly
desire.

Understanding the power of


your thoughts
Your thoughts create your reality. Every thought you
have carries an energy that radiates into the world,
influencing your experiences and the people you attract.
Understanding that your thoughts have power is the first
step towards harnessing the Law of Attraction and
creating a life of abundance and fulfillment. The law of
attraction works whether you believe it or not. Good or
bad, you are constantly creating the reality you perceive.
The principles of the
law of attraction
Like attracts Like
The principle of "like attracts like" suggests that similar
energies are drawn to each other. If you focus on positive
thoughts and emotions, you attract positive experiences and
people. Conversely, negative thoughts and emotions attract
negativity. By consciously choosing positive thoughts and
emotions, you can shape your reality accordingly.

Visualization is a powerful tool for
manifesting your desires. By creating
vivid mental images of what you want to
attract into your life, you activate the
subconscious mind and align your energy
with your goals. Regular visualization
exercises can enhance your ability to
attract and manifest your desires. You
can use visual tools like,

Your phone Lock Screen
Your computer background
Active Daydreaming
Scripting
the power of affirmations
Affirmations are positive statements that reinforce desired
beliefs or outcomes. By repeating affirmations regularly, you
reprogram your subconscious mind and align your thoughts with
your desires. Positive affirmations help to overcome limiting
beliefs and create a positive mindset conducive to attracting
what you want. Some affirmations I use daily are,
I am capable of achieving greatness
I am enough
I am constantly growing and expanding my knowledge
I am a happy and healthy person
I am confident in my skills and expertise
I am a magnet for genuine and authentic love
I am a source of love and positivity in the world

Gratitude and Appreciation


Gratitude is a fundamental practice for aligning with the Law of
Attraction. By expressing gratitude for what you already have,
you attract more reasons to be grateful. Gratitude shifts your
focus from lack, to abundance. It raises your vibration and
attracts positive experiences. I would say that gratitude is the
most IMPORTANT tool in manifestation. “Gratitude is the best
attitude.” When you are in a constant state of gratitude the
universe keeps serving experiences to be grateful to experience.
I understand that it can be hard to get into a state of gratitude
when you’re annoyed or when you feel like bad stuff keeps
happening, so let me give you an example of how you can turn
any experience into a state of gratitude.
A few months ago I got stuck in pretty bad traffic in Los Angeles. It was bumper to bumper and the
405 was basically a parking lot. I saw my exit in the distance, and began to try to make my way
over. Except no one would let me over! I ended up missing my exit, and it took another hour to get
home. When I finally did get home, I was fuming. Traffic in general really drains your energy, but
the fact that my experience was extended unnecessarily got me even more in my feelings. I realized
that at that moment my energy was really bad, and before I went into my house I knew I needed to
shift it. Immediately I told myself, that I missed my exit, because I was supposed to. My “guides”
were redirecting me because perhaps something worse, like an accident may have happened, had I
taken my exit. I have no idea if this was true, but it allowed me to shift my energy into a grateful
state, and I went the rest of the day with a good mood, instead of a bad one.
Applying the
law of attraction
in your life
Clarify your desires
To manifest your desires effectively, it's crucial to clarify
what you truly want. Set clear, specific goals and visualize
them as if they have already come to fruition. The clearer
you are about your desires, the easier it becomes to align
your thoughts and actions accordingly. I like writing “dream”
lists. Just as you would write a grocery list, write down all of
your goals and desires. Writing your goals and dreams down
with pen and paper is one of the most effective ways to
clarify what you’re trying to create.

Be mindful of negative thoughts and emotions that may
contradict what you want to attract. Practice positive
thinking, cultivate a positive mindset, and choose
empowering beliefs that support your goals.
If your goal is to attract a loving relationship with a
romantic partner, quit saying that there are no good
people. There are billions of people on the planet, it is
naïve to think that it is hard to meet a good person, when
statistically your chances of meeting someone good are
higher than meeting someone bad. Instead start thinking
that people are good, and you are constantly surrounded
with people who uplift you and adore you.
Letting go of limiting beliefs
Limiting beliefs are thoughts or beliefs that block your
progress and prevent you from manifesting your desires.
Identify and challenge these beliefs, replacing them with
empowering ones. Let go of self-doubt and cultivate a
mindset of possibility and abundance.

If your goal is to attract more money, stop saying that


money is hard to earn or that “money is the root of all evil.”
If you think money is bad, of course it isn’t flowing to you
abundantly. You are telling the universe that you don’t want
it because you identify as a good person, and people with
money are corrupt. Instead change your internal dialogue.
Start affirming that you are a good person and that money
is a tool for good. You constantly have money flowing to
you, because it brings so much goodness into your life and
those around you.
Taking inspired action

While the Law of Attraction emphasizes the role of thoughts
and beliefs in manifesting your desires, it also recognizes the
importance of actively engaging in inspired actions to bring
those desires into reality.
Inspired action involves taking steps that are aligned with
your desires and intuition. It is action that arises from a
place of excitement, passion, and inner guidance, rather than
from a sense of obligation or force. When you take inspired
action, you are moving in harmony with the universe and
signaling your readiness to receive what you desire.

Alignment with Intentions:


Before taking action, it is important to clarify your
intentions and desires. Spend time visualizing and feeling
what it would be like to have your desires manifested. This
process helps you gain clarity and aligns your energy with
what you want to attract.
Trusting Your Inner Guidance:
Pay attention to your intuition and inner guidance system.
This can come in the form of gut feelings, intuitive
hunches, or a sense of excitement and inspiration. Trusting
and following your inner guidance allows you to take
actions that are in alignment with your desires.
Letting Go of Resistance:
Release any doubts, fears, or limiting beliefs that may be
blocking you from taking inspired action. Trust that the
universe supports you and is working in your favor. Focus
on positive possibilities and maintain a mindset of
openness and receptivity
Taking Small Steps:
Inspired action does not necessarily mean making huge
leaps all at once. It can involve taking small, manageable
steps that move you closer to your goals. Break down your
actions into smaller tasks and focus on consistently taking
those steps.

Enjoying the Journey:


While it is important to have a clear vision of your desired
outcome, remember to enjoy the process and journey of
manifestation. Taking inspired action should be enjoyable
and fulfilling. Cultivate a mindset of gratitude and
appreciation for the progress you are making.

Being Flexible and Open:


Remain open to unexpected opportunities and signs from
the universe. Sometimes, the actions you take may lead to
different paths or outcomes that are even better than what
you initially envisioned. Stay flexible and embrace the
possibilities that come your way.

Consistency and Persistence:


Stay committed to your desires and continue to take
inspired action consistently. The Law of Attraction
responds to sustained focus and effort. Trust that by
taking consistent inspired action, you are moving closer to
the realization of your desires.

Remember that taking inspired action is an


ongoing process and may require adjustments
along the way. Trust yourself, trust the
process, and stay open to the synchronicities
and opportunities that arise as you align your
actions with your desires.

daily visualization practice
Dedicate time each day to visualize your desired
outcomes. Imagine them in vivid detail, engage your
senses, and feel the emotions associated with achieving
them. Consistency and belief in your visualizations will
strengthen their manifestation.
When I was a nanny, I was given a white Mercedes to drive when I
was at work. Everyday when I would go pick the children up from
school, I would imagine that this wasn’t my work car, but my actual
car. I would experience all the feelings of owning the car and
visualized everyday on that 30 minute drive that it was indeed
mine. Very shortly after I did in fact get my very own white
Mercedes.

Affirmations
for success
Create a list of positive affirmations that support your
goals and repeat them daily. Affirmations should be in the
present tense, specific, and emotionally charged. Regularly
affirming your desired outcomes reinforces positive beliefs
and attracts corresponding experiences.

Gratitude Journaling
Start a gratitude journal and write down things you're
grateful for each day. This practice shifts your focus
towards positivity, amplifies feelings of abundance, and
attracts more reasons to be grateful.
Surrounding Yourself
with Positive Energy
Surround yourself with positive people, books, podcasts,
and resources that inspire and uplift you. Energy is
contagious, so being in a positive environment enhances
your ability to manifest your desires. This rings true for
social media as well. Do not let yourself get sucked into a
video of a woman sitting in her car complaining about how
all men are narcissists and about how she is broke and
struggling. That is a recipe to attract energy like that into
your life. From now on you need to perceive videos like
that as ABNORMAL and offensive. You need to catch
yourself being drawn in and say, “not today bad vibes” and
scroll on quickly. Heck, even hit the not interested button.
Now when you see someone doing a luxury shopping haul,
instead of getting jealous, start getting super excited.
You’re seeing a video like that, because that sort of
experience is what is meant for you. Watch the whole
video and like it. The algorithm will keep serving you more
content like that. Soon you will start to think that luxury
shopping hauls are the norm, when you normalize that sort
of abundance, you’ll attract abundance like that into your
life. ** My personal dreams are different than yours. Every
person has a unique dream life. What I'm saying is, when
you see content that makes you feel jealous (romantic
relationships, lifestyle, career) that is a sign that it is
probably a dream you have. Shift the jealous energy to a
state of gratitude. "You are grateful, you felt jealousy,
because, now you're more clear on what you want for your
life."
overcoming challenges and
staying committed
dealing with doubts and
negative thoughts
Doubts and negative thoughts are natural, but it's
important not to dwell on them. When they arise,
acknowledge them, and consciously choose positive
alternatives. Practice self-compassion and remind yourself
of past successes and the potential for future
manifestations. I think one of the most effective tools
you can use is an “Obstacles list.” To create an obstacle
list write down all the obstacles you’ve experienced and
how you overcame them. No matter how big or small.
When you find yourself in doubt you can reference the
list and have the confidence to get through what you’re
dealing with. I guarantee that you have had a least a few
experiences that you thought were impossible come true.
When I was in my early 20’s my rent was $650 a month. I
thought that was so much money and was constantly
worried about how I was going to come up with the
money to pay for it. I always had the fear that I wouldn’t
be able to and that I would end up getting evicted. But
time and time again the rent got paid and I never got
evicted. Now I spend that sort of money on a pair of
shoes and don’t even blink an eye. But I’m telling you a
few short years ago, that seemed like so much money.
Whenever I find myself stressed out about money now, I
remind myself of those experience’s in my 20’s. Instead of
losing sleep and being crippled by paralyzing fear I tell
myself the money always shows up. I’m able to say this
because I have proof, the money always does show up.
Patience and Trust
in the Process
Manifesting desires takes time and patience. Trust in the
process and have faith that the universe is working on your
behalf. Cultivate patience and surrender the need for
immediate results. Trust that what you desire is on its way.
You can sort of compare this to online shopping. If there’s
one online company I have faith in, it’s Amazon. Like my
faith is so strong in Amazon, that if there was an
apocalypse, I guarantee you, my amazon packages would
still show up. Other online retailers I’m not so confident in.
When I order something, and it takes longer than a week to
arrive, I start doubting if the item will even show up.
Almost 99% of the time the stuff does show up though, but
the experience always feels so much longer than it needed
to be because I was constantly worried about where my
package was. The universe is the same way. Sometimes
your manifestations are like amazon, and sometimes they’re
like a small etsy boutique. Like I said 99% of the time your
package from the small retailer does show up. Worrying if
it got lost, or if it's shipped yet, doesn’t make it come any
faster. So save yourself the stress and know that your
manifestation order was received, is being processed, and it
will be here before you know it.

Acknowledge and celebrate each step forward, no matter how
small. Celebrating your progress cultivates a positive mindset
and reinforces your belief in the Law of Attraction.

Embrace the Law of Attraction as a way of life, integrating its
principles into all areas of your life. Make conscious choices
that align with your desires, practice gratitude, and maintain a
positive mindset consistently.
