RATIONALE
Teachers are one of the most powerful sources for helping children cope with
gender bias. By being aware of gender bias, they can help children deal with this
conflict and respond to intolerance in the real world. It is one of the goals of
Pantukan Elementary School to become gender sensitive. To achieve this goal, the
school conducts training, activities, seminars and LAC sessions every year using
the budget allocated for Gender and Development.
A. 6. Objective:
These Two-Day Seminar Workshop aims to provide appropriate knowledge,
skills, and attitude for the participants to be able to:
Identify the Gender-based Violence among Children and Women
Discuss on how to protect children and women at school against violence
Make lesson plans integrating GAD focusing child protection
Identify mental and physical health illnesses
Learn how to avoid or prevent the mental and health illnesses

a. Submit Training Design and secure approval from the Division Office for
the conduct of the Seminar Workshop
b. Prepare School Memorandum to the participants
c. Conduct Monitoring and Feed back
d. Conduct Evaluation and Validation of Objectives
e. Submission of Report and Recommendation
