When students are no longer in school for a month or so, they are not exposed to any
new information or being challenged to discover new things and learn what they ought
to learn to maintain a healthy skillset and a well working intelligence.

We at Apeejay feel that “Summer homework” helps students work on their own terms
and pushes them to get things done with an approaching deadline. It helps them retain
the important information they may otherwise forget a few short weeks after they leave
for vacations from school. The drill and practice section is our endeavor in this direction.

Through the “Beyond the books” section we hope to push students to find out more
information about the subject matter, and also help learn and remember some of what
was taught in the last class before students went on vacation.
It is important that students also find time to learn important skills like swimming,
playing a musical instrument, stitching, knitting, bicycling and so much more.

The “Research & Create” section is part of the art integrated project where Delhi has been
paired with Andaman and Nicobar. Enabling students to observe, explore, think and
learn without constraints. To make students curious and help them engage in activities
stem from learning is the emphasis here. The theme for Class VI is Sustainable
Development Goal 14: Life below Water.
So be creative and enjoy while you practice, research and learn to present some creative
work. Holiday Homework's last date of submission is Monday, July 10, 2023. After that
marks will be deducted for late submission.

Andaman and Nicobar Islands are home to a plethora of fish species. Out of the wide array of
Fishes found a few of the common species are listed below :
