ARTICLES
 Definitions:
A, An and The are to be said Articles. They precede (पहले आना) the Nouns and these
are used in undefined expressions. These are Adjectives. In Modern English
Grammar, these are to be said Determiners.

Types of Articles:
There are two types of Articles.
(1) Indefinite Article
(2) Definite Article
(1) Indefinite Article: When ‘a/an’ is used to make uncertain or indefinite
sense at position of any noun, it is to be said Indefinite Article.
Example: There was a dog.
A dog was barking at night.
He saw an old man.
(2) Definite Article : When ‘the’ is used to point out of the particular
person or thing, it is to be said Definite Article.
Example: This is the pen which I have bought.
Note :
(1) The Indefinite Article is used before Singular Countable Noun but the
Definite Article is used before Singular Countable Noun, Plural
Countable Noun and Uncountable Noun.
Ex: A book
The book
The books
The milk
(2) A/an is the weak form of one and The is the weak form of this/that
(3) Read as
The student (द स्टूडेंट)
The oil (दी आयल)
 Position of Articles
(1) a/an/the + Noun
(2) a/an/the + Adj. +Noun
He is a good boy.
He is an intelligent student
He is the best boy of my class.
(3.) a/an/the + Adv + Adj. +Noun
She is a very intelligent student.
Tendulkar is the very best player.
