Clicking on the legend icon displays a panel with the value ranges and colors for
every layer the user has added and set as visible (not hidden). As an example, the
legend for the termination reasons raster is displayed in Figure.
An extra capability for the raster layers in the legend is the possibility of disabling
or filtering some value ranges by clicking directly on them in the legend. In this
way, pixels associated with the selected sets of value ranges disappear from the
GIS. The user can restore these pixels by clicking on them again, by clicking on
the Auto-Range button. Users can also change the colors directly from the
legend by clicking on the color they want to edit.

Besides the topology layer, other layers can also be added by clicking the plus
icon (a maximum of 25 layers can be added). A topology layer is always present
(it cannot be removed) and there cannot be more than one; the new layer type
must be timing advance (only for LTE technology) or raster (available for LTE
and WCDMA technologies).
The panel in Figure 21 is displayed for the timing advance layer. By default, the
arcs represent the 50th, 95th and 98th percentile (statistics), which are
configurable (Arc3 > Arc2 > Arc1). The opacity and color key features are
available in this layer.
Note: the platform does not support the management of more than one timing
advance layer.
Once the sector(s) is selected, the coverage area is automatically displayed as
shown in Figure 22. A maximum of 100 sectors can be selected. The arches
displayed on the map are synchronized with the timing advance layer and
legend. This way, any change in the layer configuration (percentile or color) or
legend (color or disabling/enabling percentile) is automatically reflected on the
coverage areas.

Overshooting is calculated with call trace data and PM if available is used to enhance
the Overshooting Factor Report (OFR). Overshooting factor is defined as the ratio
between target cell propagation and its closest 5 neighbors average propagation. A
ratio of 2 means that target cell is propagating twice more than its 5 closest neighbors.
In case of PM data, the calculation of the average propagation of the 5 closest
neighbors is weighted by HO count.
If there are no timing advance events or enough neighbors for a sector according to the extended beamwidth (multiplied by 1.5) and
percentage configured in the combo “Considered neighbor sites”, the OSF is not calculated.
Please note the number of selected neighbor sites is rounded towards the nearest integer value; for example:
• if there are 5 neighbor sites fulfilling conditions and 25% is configured, then 5*0.25, 1.25 is rounded to 1 site
• if there are 5 neighbor sites fulfilling conditions and 50% is configured, then 5*0.5, 2.5 is rounded to 3 sites,….
If PM data is available, the average distance is weighted by HO Success Rate x HO Success Count, calculated as:
(pmHoExeSuccLteIntraF - pmHoExeSuccNonMob)^2/(pmHoExeAttLteIntraF – pmHoExeAttNonMob)

The overshooting factor report icon is in the middle of the auxiliary tools and is
displayed when the sectors are colored based on the overshooting factor KPI
values. Clicking on the icon displays a floating panel where a grid is shown
containing the information in Figure. The content is sorted by overshooting factor
values in descending order and limited to 20 rows. The complete data can also be

The overshooting factor report is synchronized with the map, that is, the sector(s)
selected on the table are selected automatically in the GIS. The view is centered on the
corresponding sector(s). The synchronization is not bidirectional, that is, if one or more
sectors are selected in the GIS, the table selection is reset. The selection is also reset
when closing the panel.
If the user makes the topology layer invisible, the icon remains but becomes disabled
and the panel becomes hidden, if present. The panel can be closed either by clicking
again on the overshooting factor report icon or by simply closing the window.
The timing advance histogram and statistics icon is located in the middle of the
auxiliary tools and is displayed once the timing advance layer is added. Clicking
on this icon displays a floating panel with the histogram and statistics for the
selected sector. Histogram represents the number of samples (Y-axis) for each
measured timing advance (X-axis) and the statistics correspond to the three
configured percentiles (50th, 95th and 98th by default). If more than one sector
is selected, the statistics are not shown. The timing advance histogram and the
50th, 95th and 98th percentiles for the selected sector are displayed in Figure.
The displayed information is synchronized with the timing advance layer and the
legend. This way, any change in the layer configuration (percentile or color) or
legend (color or disabling/enabling percentile) is automatically reflected on the
panel. If no sector is selected, the chart remains empty with a text warning the
user that there is no data to display.
If the timing advance layer is deleted, both the icon and the floating panel (if
present) disappear. However, if the user makes the layer invisible, the icon
remains but becomes disabled and the panel becomes hidden, if present. The
panel can be closed either by clicking again on the timing advance histogram icon
or by simply closing the window.

Users can edit the default color key (colors and value range) for any of the layers.
This configuration is available within the layer itself as shown . If possible,
changes in the color key are applied immediately to the layer.
The following items can be configured:
Number of Steps/Bins: New steps/bins can be added at the end of the scale or
removed from it by clicking on the +/- buttons.
Value Range: Any of the values in the range can be modified individually by
editing the corresponding input box.
Color Selection: any of the colors in the scale can be changed individually by

A new polygon can be created by clicking on the Create new polygon option. The
new polygon must be associated to a customer and the current user; therefore,
the customer must be provided. Apart from that, a name is required. The name
has to be unique for the customer-user combination. Clicking on Enable/Disable
Polygon points edition icon, the polygon can be drawn on the map by single-
clicking on each desired polygon vertex. The polygon edition can be finished by
double-clicking on the last vertex. The polygon is always created as private,
meaning that it is only available for the current user and customer.

the action of creating a new one. As a requisite, a customer needs to be provided
before selecting the files. Several polygons can be imported at the same time. The
files with .mif format are mandatory and contain the location of the polygon
vertexes and the files with .mid format contain the polygons names. If .mid files are
not provided, the name will be taken from the .mif files name.
Note: the action will not be performed in case of having a names collision or
selecting corrupt/wrong files.

Users can access the CTA dashboard by signing into the DOP Portal from
Mapview or the direct Call Termination Analysis link.
The Call Termination Analysis (CTA) dashboard is designed to provide users with
distribution and other basic information, as well as measurements for terminated
calls that have been processed by the GeoBox within a range of time and
network elements. The dashboard is based on various types of visualizations
including charts, scatter plots, and maps. Users can filter and drill down through
the different termination statuses and reasons for troubleshooting purposes. The
dashboard also offers a detailed view for each call with all related events
information.
