INTRODUCTION:

This unit covers the skills and knowledge required to implement a plant nutrition program in the horticultural or agricultural industry.
Implementing a plant nutrition program is likely to be under limited supervision from others, with checking only related to overall progress.
The work is usually done
Within a program, routines, methods and procedures where some discretion and judgment is required in the selection equipment and
materials, organization of work, services, actions, and the achievement of outcomes within time and budgetary constraints.

B. LEARNING ACTIVITIES
 Checking the area if the learning environment is conducive to the learners or students.
 Prepare the instructional materials that will help in the teaching and learning process.
 Checking of attendance.
 Recall the prior knowledge and state the learning objectives.
 Read the information sheet about monitoring soil pH.
 Show appropriate material used in monitoring soil pH. _
 Demonstrate the standards procedures in monitoring soil ph.
 Monitor the learning activities.
