James and Delia are a newlywed couple who want to buy each other gifts for Christmas but are facing financial difficulties. James buys Delia a comb for her hair while Delia buys James a nice platinum chain. However, they each unknowingly sell their most valuable possessions in order to afford the gifts. Though they meant to surprise each other, their gifts no longer have value since James cuts off Delia's hair to buy the comb and Delia melts down the chain to buy the fob. Their unconditional love is shown through their willingness to sacrifice for each other.

The Gift of Magi

The Gift of Magi is a story of a newly wed couple who are going to celebrate Christmas, but they
have financial difficulties they want to give each other gifts, but due to financial problems they
must decide a very tough decision. The story took place in a small town at England and the
story is very romantic that it gave me some excitement and you can also see their
determination in buying those gifts for their loved ones.

James and Delia are the newly wed couple in the story who bought those gifts for each other,
we can tell by watching the story that they are willing to let go their valuable things for each
other. In a small town in England, James bought Delia combs for her hair, and Delia bought
James a nice platinum fob chain it is simple yet chaste design. As I can tell the story is precious
and very wonderful, once you watched it you’ll realize how their love is so unconditional they
did have a thought of each other’s perspective but they’re thoughts were wrong thus their
feelings are so loyal and consistent.

I love everything about the text, the way they bought each other gifts and their decisions with
no hesitation. That just felt and gave me the meaning of love, no matter how hard the decision
you make but if it’s for your beloved you will have no regrets in buying/giving those things to
them, and the way you accept it to is a way of gratitude through your partner, a way of taking
all their love to you. The part that I don’t like about the text is that they have no financial
support, the way that it made them sad the time when Christmas is near, if not because of that
things they would’ve bought those gifts with no exchange to it, then it would’ve just taken and
give and not going to let go a thing or two. I just thought that the story is great how it gave a
problem and how it handled the characters well to solve it is very amusing.

You must read this text because it will give you knowledge/lessons for your love life and how to
handle situation with no regrets and hesitation, like how it did to me. I want to share it with you
guys that no matter how hard life is you can still do things to you beloved, if you want to there
is a way if you don’t then don’t. You will like this text if you like romantic kind of stuffs and
complicated plots, you will like/love it the way James loves Delia’s hair after cutting it.
