We have our own test lab and can do the tests with
rebar samples from customers according to different
bar splicing standards before the order.

Applications of rebar splice with upset end
It solves the problems of splicing 40mm rebar with 36mm ring-shape
rebar at the containment.

4. Types and Application
of Parallel Thread Rebar Splice
Standard Splice
• Applied in area where rebar can be rotated
freely.
• Standard splice is the most general applied
type. It is composed by two right-hand
thread sectors with the same diameter and
a coupler with inside right-hand thread.
The thread sector is the standard thread
sector whose effective thread length is not
less than half coupler length. The splicing
coupler is the standard splice. The
application condition is that one of two
rebar is not restricted in rolling and axially
moving, so it is possible to construct with
coupler and rebar. In structure, it is usually
used in the parts such as slab, beam, wall,
column and so on.
