Research Proposal

Identified research problem:

Many were affected by the Pandemic we experienced 3-4 years ago, especially small
business owners. We did this research to find out how the pandemic has affected small business
owners differently, and how they have overcome it.

Research Title: Business Owner’s Struggles: Pre and Post Pandemic

Reasons/Justifications for conducting the study:

a. To see how the pandemic affects their business.


b. How they overcame the struggles.
c. Being aware of the business owners' mental state.

Research Questions (at least three):

1. What are a business owner’s struggles when it comes to income and the number of
customers before, during, and after a pandemic?
2. How do business owners cope with struggles before, during, and after the pandemic?

3. How is the mental state of a business owner before, during, and after the pandemic?
