matching VM Datastore to LUN

Hi all,
I'm looking to get rid of a datastore from VMWare, I've unmounted the datastore in VCenter but was then trying to identify which LUN it
actually was on our HUS 130. Is there any way to find out which one it is?
Looking at the naa string in VMWare it looks like the last 4 digits may be the LUN ID but I just want to make sure it is.
Eg: naa.50050e801034c3f0057f17f00000000

The Hitachi Storage Plug-in version 3.3.0 and later supports vCenter 6.0. You can download it from support.hds.com

yes the last 4 are the LUN/LDEV ID, the middle naa.50050e801034c3f0057f17f00000000 string is the HEX array Serial Number as
well.

many thanks for that.
How would you go about finding the array serial number in SNM2? I can view the Array ID and the Serial number of the HUS but
they don't seem to correspond with the hex: f17f

Convert that hex to decimal and you'll see it matches

It should match the last 5 or 6 of your HUS array id/serial number.

worked it out, if you add the 4 digits before the blue highlighted digits it works out to be the serial number.

4digit (f17f) only for Enterprise Storage
If modular storage use 6digit (57f17f)

If you are using VCenter, why not get the VASA plugin from HDS and solve the problem.
Today it might be one or two volumes, but what if you have mapped 80-100 volumes it would
be a nightmare doing it.
