At Mekoprint we develop and manufacture printed
sensors and circuits - globally competitive and
customized for integration in your products.

Our mission is - together with you – to make the

best possible printed component for your product.

We strive for long term partnerships where

collaboration is both equal and mutually binding.
We never cease to look for new ambitious
improvements that will help us grow together.

We continually invest heavily in production

equipment and skills development, thus offering
fully automated roll-to-roll production. With a
highly qualified team of engineers, we support
your product and team from early development
to mass production in high volumes.

Together with a fully digital production floor and

mapping of carbon footprint on our processes,
we have placed automation, digitalization, and
sustainability as cornerstones for our future growth
together.
Our philosophy
is to approach every
task with curiosity
and responsibility.

responsibility to
help you succeed.
Electric conductive
printing pastes
The core of all printed electronics begins with the
right choice of conductive inks based on the needed
level of functionality, quality, and price. At Mekoprint
you can benefit from a number of already tested and
proven inks, as well as finding new and adapted inks
to fit your specific application.

Thin, flexible,
and stretchable
substrates
The proporties of the substrates are of significant
importance when using printed electronics as a
key component in your final application. It is these
proporties that makes printed electronics meet the
increasing demands for electronic components to
be thin, lightweight, flexible and even stretchable.
Automated
manufacturing
Roll-to-roll screen printing is perfect for mass
production of printed electronics. The technology
allows high automation enabling low costs, high
uniform quality, as well as complex structures and
exact precision.

Together we will choose the right manufacturing

method to suit your application.

components
Printed electronics are moving boundaries for
electrical components by being smaller, thinner,
and even transparent at a level where the human
eye cannot detect errors. At Mekoprint we have
developed electrical test systems and automated
optical inspection to ensure 100% functionable
components to your factory.

21
Capacitive Sensors
Capacitive touch sensors printed on thin polymer
films are used as cost efficient, lightweight user
interfaces for applications where touch operation
is preferred.

The sensors are flexible and follows any curved

design and irregular shape of your product or device.
It is easily mounted behind a plastic or glass front with
pressure sensitive adhesive, or as an integral part of
the mechanical construction.
23
22

Stretchable Sensors
Printed sensors may be more than just pliable. They
can be made on ultra-thin and stretchable foils like
non-woven materials and TPU foils,

These materials introduce unique stretchable

properties as the sensors may be stretched without
losing function.
25
24

Flexible Circuits
Flexible printed circuits (also known as flexprint
or FPC) is made from etched copper laminated to
polymer foils.

The flexibility of the foils makes it possible to apply

to curved surfaces. Together with the high electrical
conductivity of copper, the foils are very suitable as
alternatives to traditional rigid PCBs and LED boards.

future automotive
interior design
Turn the monochrome, homogeneous, and
curved surfaces of the vehicles interior design
into interactive control panels with smooth touch
operation around infotainment, control systems,
and other console solutions.

Smart surface designs using lightweight touch

sensors are undoubtedly a key part of the future
for automotive interior.

A future that is already available at Mekoprint today.

The automotive industry is increasingly shifting its
interior designs from tactile switches in the control
panel to innovative smart surface technology.
Integrating and combining lightweight pliable touch
sensors, lights, tactile feedback, and screens to
create future-proved designs.

With seamless integration in the curved organic-

shaped surfaces you can create both aesthetically
beautiful control panel design, improve user
experience, and enhance brand identity.

Touch functionality may e.g. be developed as point,

slider or wheel. With backlit symbols the panel will
appear black when inactive and thus only visible
and illuminated when activated.

electronics
Today consumer electronics are an important
part of home furnishings. Thus the importance of
applications being both functionally effective and
appealing to our aesthetic sense is essential to win
the favour of the consumers.

Appealed to meet the ever-growing trend towards

touch-operated user interfaces, manufacturers
of consumer electronics, and major and small
household appliances are renewing their traditional
mechanical control panels with touch sensor
technology.

They are seeking seamless aesthetical design with

a surface that is both easy to operate, easy to clean,
and cost-efficient to produce and integrate.
Adding touch functionality to your application does
not require investing in expensive ITO-screens,
best known from our smart devices. By using a
transparent printed capacitive touch sensor as part
of the control panel, touch functionality is achieved
in a cost-effective, easy, and appealing way.

Many of the world’s leading manufacturers of

major appliances are among Mekoprints long
term customers. Together we have created a large
variety of user interfaces for washing machines,
dryers, ovens, induction hobs, dishwashers, and
coffee machines, to name a few - All benefiting
from our strong expertise in creating touch sensor
user interfaces.

Digital connected
health care
applications
Consumers have largely welcomed the Internet
of Things, making it widespread in smart homes,
industrial applications, for personal training, and in
the health care industry in general.

All health care companies seek to improve life value

for their users. Thus, it will be interesting for many to
add a digital dimension to their traditional products
in the future.

We are working with market leaders within their

businesses, who have entrusted us with development
and manufacturing of new ground-breaking sensor
applications in their single-use disposable products.
39
38

A sensor makes it possible for the user to collect

real-time data. With a link between the sensor and
the user or caregiver’s smart device it is easy to act
upon the data output.

We find that stretchable sensors are a key part

of the future within the disposable health care
market, and we have subsequent invested heavily
in both production equipment and intensive skills
development throughout the years.

This way we have introduced sensors produced

on ultra-thin pliable and stretchable materials for
direct application on skin or to be worn very close
to the body.

We know the future holds even more wearable

Seamless modern
light design
Etched copper-based foils are particularly well suited
as LED substrates due to the high conductivity of the
copper. The flexible origin of the foil makes it possible
to design endless pattern layout for use on curved
and irregular surfaces.

Architects, decorators, and light designers from

all over the world use LED-foils to make seamless
luminous surfaces in walls and ceilings.
