The document discusses two types of loyalty seen in the play Antigone: blind faith and moral obligation. Blind faith involves following a leader unconditionally regardless of their actions. Loyalty from moral obligation means following a leader because you believe in their morality and justice, and would withdraw support if they act immorally. A Clean Well Lighted Place Essay

Crafting an essay on the topic of "A Clean Well Lighted Place" presents its own set of challenges. To
begin with, the narrative style of the original work by Ernest Hemingway is distinctive and requires a
keen understanding to capture its essence accurately. Delving into the layers of symbolism, subtle
character interactions, and the overall mood set by the author demands a careful and nuanced
analysis.

One difficulty lies in interpreting the meaning behind the seemingly simple yet profound dialogue
between the characters. Hemingway's minimalist writing style leaves much unsaid, forcing the essay
writer to read between the lines and discern the deeper emotions and thoughts that lurk beneath the
surface.

Furthermore, the exploration of themes such as existentialism, loneliness, and the search for meaning
in a seemingly indifferent world adds another layer of complexity. It necessitates not only a thorough
comprehension of the text but also an ability to connect these themes to broader philosophical and
literary contexts.

Crafting a coherent and insightful analysis requires more than just summarizing the plot or recounting
events. It involves drawing connections between the characters, their actions, and the broader
cultural and historical context, making it a challenging task that demands critical thinking and
interpretive skills.

In addition, maintaining a balance between personal interpretation and adherence to academic

standards is crucial. The essay must not only convey the writer's perspective but also substantiate
claims with textual evidence, quotations, and relevant scholarly sources.

Despite these challenges, the process of writing such an essay offers an opportunity for intellectual
growth and a deepened understanding of literature. It requires a commitment to thorough research,
careful analysis, and eloquent expression to do justice to the nuances embedded in Hemingway's
work.

Pediatric Dentistry Essay
Pediatric Dentistry is the practice of dentistry from the moment of a child s birth
through to adolescence. In short, pediatric dentists work in promoting the dental
health of children as well providing their parents with the educational knowledge in
sustaining their children s oral hygiene. Normally it is advised that a visit with a
dental professional should occur within the first six months of the first tooth eruption
or by the time of the child s first birthday, with latter visits taking place every six
months. Pediatric Dentists, when performing oral examinations look for abnormalities
such as caries in both mother and child. A recent study showed Xylitol gum, which is
a sugar alcohol widely known to be used in dental health (as it is said to be non
cariogenic in comparison to Sucrose) in helping the reduction of caries to a third as
well as being beneficial for remineralization, can be used by mothers to prevent the
spread of bacterial infections such as MS (Mutans Streptococci) and the formation of
caries in neonatal teeth. Caries, also known as tooth decay or... Show more content on

Keystone Cruiser
In American, summer may be the season for beer, but beer maker Keystone Light has
found itself in hot market competing against some major brands. With many of the
premium brands upselling their light beers, Keystone has been forced into a position
where it must be bold if it wishes to survive. By focusing on who the Cruiser is, and why
they would enjoy Canhole, they can make a product that is far more valuable than the
premium beers that they are up against.
The essence of the Cruiser is that they are able to find enjoyment from the small things in
life. The cruiser does not need much and Canhole embodies that. While a premium beer
drinker may need more expensive and more elaborate means of entertainment, the
cruiser can find enjoyment by utilizing a cardboard box and some empty beer cans.
The Cruiser is likely to be a person that believes in simplicity, is friends and family
oriented, and can laugh at themselves (Schiffman Wisenblit, 2014). Unlike many others,
the Cruiser is not working just to get ahead in life, there are also not trying to keep up
with the jones because they prefer to live with less. ... Show more content on

However, for a marketing plan to be effective, one must define the Cruiser in marketing
terms. This requires segementing the market, and then targeting the segments where
Cruisers are found. One segmentation model, PRIZM, segments households into 66
consumer groups based on socioeconomic ranking, consumer behavior, and media
exposure patterns (Schiffman Wisenblit, 2014). Each segment is given a socioeconomic
rank according to their neighborhood data for income, education, occupation, and home
value (Schiffman Wisenblit, 2014). Out of the 66 consumer groups, Red, White, Blue,
Young Rustic, and Family Thrifts seem like the best place to find the Cruiser. Knowing
the lifestyle of the Cruiser will help to convince the Cruiser that Keystone Light and

Depression and Pregnancy2

For most women the period of growing bellies and growing anticipations is a joyful and
exciting time and for others this time may harbor doubt, fear, and depression. As many
as 1 out of 5 women have symptoms of depression during pregnancy. For some women,
those symptoms are severe. In pregnancy, women who have been depressed before are
at higher risk of depression than other women ( Pregnancy complication: depression,
2009). Depression during pregnancy, or antepartum depression, is a mood disorder just
like clinical depression. Mood disorders are biological illnesses that involve changes in
brain chemistry. During ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Some treatment choices are support groups, private psychotherapy, medication,
electroconvulsive (ECT) therapy, and light therapy ( Depression During Pregnancy,
2008). For women with mild forms of depression, individual or group therapy may be
all the treatment they need . Some women just need to talk to someone who
understands and is willing to listen to them. This is a great resource for individuals
who do not have much money and are experiencing the blues . There are women who
suffer from a type of depression that comes on during the fall or winter, when there is
less sunlight. This is called seasonal affective disorder (SAD). This condition is treated
with light therapy. In her home, the patient looks into a box with special light bulbs. The
health provider recommends how many times a day and for how long the patient needs
to use the light box ( Pregnancy complication: depression, 2009).

According to Nancy Grote, professor at the University of Pittsburgh, depression during

pregnancy can be alleviated with two types of psychotherapy. The first type of
psychotherapy, interpersonal psychotherapy, helps the depressed woman feel better by
addressing and better managing the interpersonal difficulties most connected to her
depression, including 1) learning to identify and take care of her own needs, 2) learning
to rely less on an unsupportive boyfriend, 3)
Two Types Of Loyalty In Antigone
Loyalty means sacrificing something of yours; whether it be your life, your job, or
anything of importance to you, in order to stay true to an idea or person. The
Encyclopedia of Power mentions two types of loyalty, blind faith and moral
obligation. Blind faith is when someone follows a leader and remains loyal no matter
his wrongdoings. Being loyal to one s morals means following a person because you
believe he is just and righteous, and if he were to do something immoral, you would
retract your loyalty (Encyclopedia of Power). These two types of loyalties can coexist,
but can also conflict with each other and within each other. What is important to
understand is the root of these two loyalties and where they originate from.
Blind faith can be originated from love and fear. The play Antigone serves as a great
source in order to truly comprehend the different types of loyalties. In Antigone,
Ismene has blind faith to the crown which is rooted in fear. She tells her sister, after
being asked to disregard the king s law not to bury her brother, We ll perish terribly if
we violate law and try to cross the royal vote and power (Lines 59 60). She fears her
death and does not want to perish, and for that she remains loyal to the crown and will
not cross the the royal vote and power. By remaining loyal she had to sacrifice
something important to her, burying her own brother. That is blind faith because even if
the king s decree is immoral she still must remain loyal out of

Stages Of Beauty By Andrea Borghini
Stages of Beauty
Everyone has a different concept of beauty. Philosophy expert, Andrea Borghini says,
Beauty is one of the most fascinating riddles of philosophy (Borghini). A person s
concept of beauty changes many times during the course of his/her life. Scott Westerfeld
demonstrates how a person s concept of beauty is continually changing in the book The
Uglies. To come of age a person should go through three main stages of beauty, which
includes innocent beauty, experimental beauty, and mature beauty.
In the beginning of the book, Tally has an innocent outlook on beauty and illustrates that
in order to come of age people must experience innocent beauty. Tally exemplifies
innocent beauty through the positive way she sees others. When Tally was watching the
pretties as a child, for example she says, they couldn t resist staring. There was
something magic in their large and perfect eyes, something that made you want to pay
attention (Westerfeld 8). Tally s ability to see only perfection in other people, without
necessarily seeing herself as imperfect, shows her innocence and at this point in her
development she can identify the difference in herself compared to others, but would not
change herself to be more like them. This step is important in coming of age because
seeing beauty in a positive light, is the beginning of recognizing beauty and feeling
emotions from it. Next, Tally has an innocent outlook on beauty when she dreams about
her appearance in the future.
