PERFORMANCE TASK (100 points)


Instructions:
1. Working with your group and using your chosen tourism or hospitality establishments from 07
Homework 1, collaborate and perform the following:
● Analyze the current role of the establishment’s guests/customers/clients and recommend ways
how they can co-create quality service with them. State the possible benefits of such co-creation
to the establishment.
● Evaluate what self-service technology they can implement/incorporate into their processes to
enhance service quality. Justify your answer. If they are currently using self-service technology,
determine whether the technology they are using is beneficial or not from the perspective of the
customers. You may opt to suggest a different technology or improve its processes.
● Propose other feasible suggestions for improving the quality of their operations.

2. Place your output on a short bond paper with the following formatting:
● Typeface: Calibri/Verdana/Arial
● Font size: 11
● Margin: 1” all sides

3. Create a PowerPoint presentation of your output, including 07 Homework 1.

4. Your output will be submitted and presented at the next meeting (Week 13).

5. You will be given 10 minutes to present your output, including questioning.

6. Accomplish the evaluation form on page 2 of this file to detail your contributions to the activity. It shall
serve as your class participation score for this period.

7. Your output and presentation will be evaluated using the rubric on page 3 of this file.
