The document discusses Colin Kaepernick's 2016 protest of remaining seated during the national anthem to bring attention to racial injustices in America. It notes how his supporters argue his actions are justified as a protest, while opponents view it as disrespectful to the country. The national anthem is traditionally played before sporting events as a patriotic song, so Kaepernick's protest has sparked much controversy and debate over free speech versus respecting national symbols.

Einstein Essay

Crafting an essay on the subject of Einstein poses a unique set of challenges that extend beyond the
typical difficulties associated with essay writing. Firstly, delving into the life and work of Albert
Einstein demands a thorough understanding of complex scientific theories, including his
groundbreaking contributions to the field of theoretical physics. The task requires not only the ability
to comprehend these intricate concepts but also the skill to convey them in a clear and engaging
manner for a broader audience.

Moreover, capturing the essence of Einstein's character and the historical context in which he lived
requires meticulous research and a keen eye for detail. Navigating through the vast array of
information available, selecting the most pertinent details, and presenting them coherently can be a
daunting task. Balancing scientific insights with a narrative that appeals to both scholars and general
readers adds an additional layer of complexity to the writing process.

The challenge lies not only in presenting Einstein's achievements but also in exploring the man
behind the scientific genius. Unraveling his motivations, struggles, and the societal impact of his
ideas demands a nuanced approach that combines historical, philosophical, and scientific
perspectives.

Furthermore, maintaining a coherent structure while covering the multifaceted aspects of Einstein's
life and work is no easy feat. Transitioning seamlessly between different facets of his story – from
his early life to his groundbreaking theories to his later years – requires a careful orchestration of
ideas.

In conclusion, composing an essay on the topic of Einstein is an intricate task that demands a
synthesis of scientific understanding, historical context, and narrative finesse. It is a challenge that
goes beyond the typical academic essay, requiring a deep appreciation for the complexities inherent
in the life and work of one of the greatest minds in human history.

How Does Portia Use Anaphora In Julius Caesar
Proving Loyalty
In William Shakespeare s tragedy Julius Caesar, the uses of rhetorical questions,
repetition, and anaphora help the character of Portia become persuasive and convincing.
Anaphora is used to show Brutus that Portia knows the circumstances of the situation, but
she still wants to know what Brutus is keeping from her. Making her first case as to why
Brutus should tell her what is troubling him, Portia uses anaphora saying, I grand I am a
woman; but withal A woman that Lord Brutus too wife: I grant I am a woman; but
withal A woman well reputed, Cato s daughter (71). By using the anaphora, Portia
conveys a new message to Brutus that she is to be respected, and brings a new tone to
her message. Another rhetorical device Portia uses
A Study Of Computer Programming

Senior Paper
A Study of Computer Programming Although everyone uses it not many people know
how computers and computer programming work. The people who first pioneered the
technology are largely left out of our textbooks although they have had such a large
impact on how people now live their lives, it is not just the recent advancements either,
there have been many leaps forward in as many years. In addition to not knowing who
invented these concepts people generally do not know how they work, it is more simple
than many people tend to think. The future of computer technology may be a deciding
factor in how people live in the future, from quantum computing to artificial
intelligence. I believe people should know about computer programming because it
has become such a large part of all our lives. Everyone should know about how it came
about, how it works, and where it will go in the future. Getting information to the
reader on computers and computer programming is the purpose of this essay, so there
is no need to cover what one would need to know, as it will be explained. It is a crime
that the people who have worked to create computers, and programming today have little
to no place in the current history books. Although there has been the occasional movie
such as The Imitation Game for the most part the history of computer programming has
been criminally under reported. For some people like Jim Daniels a computer engineer
and teacher at
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Discourse
Destiny Campbell Enc 1102 Stuart Dees 14 September 2016 proposal for research:
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority discourse Researcher John Swales in The Concept of
Discourse Community explains that there are six characteristics that need to be
identified for a group of people to be a discourse community. According to Swales, there
are six characteristics that make up a discourse community. They are common public
goals, mechanisms of intercommunication among members, participatory mechanisms to
provide information and feedback, utilizing one or more genres in communication, a
specific lexis, and a threshold level of members with a degree of relevant content and
discourse expertise (220 222). Discourse is in communities are all around us.... Show

With this research I plan to go back to the roots of why sororities use Greek language
in their discourse community and how it helps them form a sisterhood that is shared
only amongst the community. Sororities and fraternities are becoming more prevalent
in universities all across the nation. Today, there are over 9 million members of the
Greek communities and the number is continuously growing each year ( Greek Life
Statistics ). The terms fraternity and sorority describe groups of men and women who
join together to offer fellowship, academic support, leadership training, participation
in campus activities, service to the community and University, and preparation for
future careers ( What is Greek Life? ). People that in are the Greek community all have
at least one thing in common. Whether they just want to be apart of a sisterhood
/brotherhood or deeper things like they all share a common belief or goal. Sororities
have five basic benefits: sisterhood, scholarship, leadership, philanthropy (charitable
causes/community service), and socializing ( About Sororities ). These benefits are
included in the values and beliefs of a sorority as a discourse community. Greeks all
speak a language that they learn in the process of becoming part of their fraternity
/sorority(recruitment process). Agendas, e mails, and text messages are all forms of a
genre. A genre is anything that is written down and shared in the discourse community.

The Conflict Of The United States
The definition of genocide must of recently changed without many individuals being
aware, unless the current ongoing pertinent issue did not want to be addressed in the
twenty first century. In the largest country in Africa, it is unimaginable that a
genocide conducted by their government continues while the rest of the world does
nothing. The largest country in Africa is Sudan, which is located on the northeastern
side of Africa. The western region of Sudan is the primary focus, Darfur. This region
of Sudan has experienced for years a consistent war that overtime has become
forgotten. In the twenty first century, it is difficult to realize that an actual genocide is
happening. The individuals in this region are experiencing a harsh and difficult life
that begin in the year of 2003. Given, the conflict of Darfur began in the year of 2003
involving over 300,00 people being murdered and more then two million being
displaced. Everyday individuals are being raped, murdered, displaced, and their villages
are being burned down. The violence increases and individuals begin to believe that the
raids were supported by the government. Otherwise, the government would of ceased the
treatment. The armed forces of the government in Sudan are at an ongoing war with two
rebel groups. The armed forces that is supported by the government is known as
Janjaweed, literally meaning Devils on horseback. The two rebels group declare that
their goals are to force the government of Sudan to
Anthem Argument
Major media outlets erupted in a firestorm when former NFL San Francisco 49ers
Quarterback, Colin Kaepernick, silently protested the injustices and the mistreatment of
African Americans in the United States. During a pre season football game in August
2016, Kaepernick remained seated during the playing of the National Anthem. Many of
Kaepernick s supporters will argue that his actions, and those of other athletes that have
since joined him in this protest, are justified and are acceptable, by today s standards.
Conversely, those opposing Kaepernick s actions argue that anyone who chooses to
remain seated or to kneel during the National Anthem is a disgrace to the United States
and this action should not be tolerated. Consequently, these protests have sparked
outrageous controversy and division across the nation and have also been anything but
silent.

The National Anthem or Star Spangled Banner written by Francis Scott Key during the
War of 1812 has always been considered one of the most patriotic songs written and is
typically played before sporting events. Traditionally, when played, everyone stands,
faces the United States flag and places their right hand over their heart. Colin Kaepernick
and the athletes that have chosen to follow this protest, have caused this tradition to
change. For most, the Anthem is a very symbolic song that represents the sacrifice of
each of the brave men and women that have and are still fighting for our freedom in the
Armed Forces.
Edward Gein Social Control Theory
She s not missing, she s at the farm right now. This haunting quote comes from the
mouth of one of the most grotesque and brutal serial killers to ever live, Edward Gein.
Edward was born on August 27th 1906 to an abusive alcoholic father, George Gein and
an overly religious mother, Augusta Carter. Along with Edward, George and Augusta
gave birth to Edwards older brother Henry in 1902. The familysettled down in the little
town of Lacrosse, Wisconsin where Augusta raised the young boys. For the most part,
her husband George was left out of the picture mainly because Augusta believed he
was a worthless alcoholic. This paper will discuss the connection between Edward s
crimes and social control theory in order to arrive at a conclusion as to why Gein
committed the brutal murders he did. Before we dive into Gein s criminal history and
early life we need to understand why social control theories differ from most other
criminological theories. Social control theories tend to dive deeper into the realm of Why
didn t someone offend opposed to why did someone offend. Most criminological theories
seek to explain how the need to conform to society affects criminal development ,but
social control theories center around the idea that there are multiple outside factors that
encourage... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
When more units arrived, police found even more gruesome atrocities; boxes of
organs, furniture made of bones, and masks that had been made by peeling away
faces from skulls (Top Doc, 2013). Police even discovered a full anatomically correct
body suit that had been crafted with the skin of numerous people. The entire search of
Gein s 195 acre property took well over a week, with deputies continuing to find
remnants of Ed s other victims (Cassel et al
