1. Azlan's age is three times his sons age. Ten years ago he was five times his sons age. Find the present
ages.

2. What should we add to twice of the rational number -14/6 to get 6/14

3. A Grandfather is ten times older than his granddaughter. He is also 54 years older then her. Find the
present ages.

4. The perimeter of a rectangle is 26 cm and its width is 4-6/8 cm. Find its length.

5. The difference between two whole numbers is 132. The ratio of the two numbers is 4:10. What are the
two numbers ?

6. There is a narrow rectangular field, reserved for a school, in dariyapur village. The length and the
breadth of the field are in ratio 11:4. At a rate Rs 100 /m it will cost the village panchayat Rs 75000 to
fence the field. What is the dimension of the field?

7. Saif buys two kind of cloth materials for the school uniforms, shirts material that cost him Rs 50/m
and trouser material that cost him Rs 90/m. For every 3m of the shirt material he buys 2m of the
trousers material. He sells the materials at 12% and 10% profit. His total sale is Rs 36600. How much
Trouser materials did he buy.

9. The perimeter of a rectangle lake is 154 m and its length is 2 m more than twice its breadth. What are
the length and breadth of the lake.

11. Manu has a total of Rs 300 in coins of denomination Rs 1, Rs 2 and Rs 5. The number of Rs 2coins is
3 times the number of Rs 5 coins. The total number of coins is 160. How many coins of each
denomination are with Manu?

12. Kaif is twice as old as sabiha. Five years ago his age was three times sabihas age. Find the present
age.

13. Fifteen years from now Melvin's age will be four times his present age. What is Melvin's present age?

14. Samreen is a cashier in a bank. She has currency notes of denominations Rs 100 ,Rs 50 Rs 10
respectively. The ratio of the number of these notes is 2:3:5. The total cash with samreen is Rs
400000. How many notes of each denomination does she have ?

notes of each denomination she has ?

19. Avinash's Mother's present age is 6 times his present age. Avinash's is age 5years from now will be
one third of his mother's present age. What are their presents ages?

20. The present age of Ali's mother is six time the present age of ali after 10 years their ages will be add
to 132 years. Find their present age.
