Day Wise Itinerary


Day 01 – Madurai Airport to Rameswaram

Our friendly representative welcomes you at Madurai Airport / Railway Station on the
way visit Pamban Bridge and Check in to the hotel in Rameshwaram (04 Hrs drive).,
After arriving in Rameshwaram, pay a visit to Panchamukhi Hanuman Temple and the
iconic Pamban Bridge, which is India’s first sea bridge. Take a tour of Dhanushkodi town
to explore the beach and Dravidian temples. In the evening, visit 24 Kundalas and
Ramanathaswamy Temple – one of India’s 12 Jyotirlinga temples. APJ Abdul Kalam
House. Burial Place of APJ Abdul Kalam Back to hotel & spend the night in Rameshwaram.
DAY 02- Rameswaram to Munnar

After breakfast check out from the hotel, on the way visit Madurai Meenkashi Temple.
Check in to the hotel in Munnar & overnight stay at hotel

DAY 03- Munnar Sightseeing

After breakfast spend the day with local sightseeing. Situated at the confluence of three
mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundale, Munnar is 1600 Meter above sea
level. This majestic hill station was once the summer resort of the British government in South
India. Local sightseeing of Munnar includes visit to Mattupetty Dam, Kundale Lake and Echo
point. Afternoon proceed to Rajamalai were the rarest species of mountain goat, "Nilgiri
Thars", can be spotted. Overnight stay is arranged at Munnar.
Day 04 – Munnar to Thekkady

After breakfast check out from the hotel / resort and proceed to Thekkady. (04 Hrs); on
arrival check in to the hotel. Proceed for the sightseeing tour of Thekkady - one of the
world's most fascinating wild life reserves

Day 05 –Thekkady

The Periyar wild life sanctuary in Thekkady is spread across 777 sq km of which 360 sq
km is thick ever green forest. Noted for its geomorphology, diversity of wild life and
scenic beauty, the sanctuary was declared aTiger Reserve in 1978. Optional activities like
Boating at Periyar Lake, Spice Plantation visit and Elephant Ride can be done at an extra cost.
Overnight stay is arranged in Thekkady.
DAY 06 – Thekkady to Alleppey & Cochin Airport Departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Alleppey which has an
immense natural beauty, also known as the “VeniceoftheEast”. It is famous for the
backwaters, boat races, houseboat holidays, beaches, marine products and coir
products and drive to Cochin Airport / railway station(depend on your departure
place) for your flight / train back home, feeling contented about a wonderful
holiday you spent in the God's Own Country.
PAYMENT POLICY:
50% of the total amount should be paid at the time of booking and the balance amount
to be paid before 30 day of the arrival

REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY:


Shell & Pearl Holidays believe in helping its customers as far as possible, and has
therefore a liberal cancellation policy. Under this policy:

 Any Reservation cancelled before 45 days - full refund after deducting Rs 2000/-
facilitation charges.
 Any Reservation cancelled before 30 days - 50% refund of total package cost.
 Any Reservation cancelled before 15 days - there will be no refund.
