Making a toast:
Cheers! - Na zdrowie!
Here's to your health. - Za twoje zdrowie.

Bottoms up. (informal, used with shots) - Do Dna.


Here's mud in your eye.

Idioms:
Be on the wagon = to not be drinking, trying not to drink alcohol
Be pissed as a newt = to be very drunk
Paint the town red = to go to different bars, drink and have a good
time in a city
Wet your whistle = to have a drink
Be three sheets to the wind = to be very drunk
Be under the influence = to feel the alcohol, usually meaning to be
drunk
To drink like a fish = to drink a lot of alcohol

Dialogues
Mr. Jackson: Bartender, could I have a drink? What's taking so long?!

Mr. Jackson: I'd like some whiskey.
Bartender: Certainly sir, I'll get that straight away.
Mr. Jackson: What a day! My feet are aching! Where's an ashtray?!
Bartender: Here you go sir. Did you have a busy day?
Mr. Jackson: Yes, I had to walk all over town to get to meetings. I'm exhausted.
Bartender: I'm sorry to hear that, sir. Here's your drink. That should help.
Mr. Jackson: (takes a long sip) That's what I needed. Much better. Do you have
any snacks?
Bartender: Certainly, here are some peanuts and somen crackers, and a
napkin.
Mr. Jackson: Could I have a stir stick?
Bartender: Coming up... Here you are.
Mr. Jackson: Thanks. You know, I'm sorry to say this, but these snacks are
awful.
Bartender: I'm terribly sorry about that, sir. What seems to be the matter?
Mr. Jackson: The peanuts are stale!
Bartender: I apologize sir, I'll open a fresh can immediately.
Mr. Jackson: Thanks. Sorry to be in such a bad mood.
Bartender: That's quite alright. Can I get you another drink? This one's on the
house.
Mr. Jackson: That's kind of you. Yes, I'll have another whiskey.
Bartender: Right away, sir. Do you have any preferences on the whiskey?
Mr. Jackson: Hmmm, what's that bottle over there?
Bartender: That's Jack Daniel's, aged 12 years.
Mr. Jackson: That sounds good. I'd also like to smoke. Is that possible?
Bartender: Unfortunately, we don't allow smoking in the bar. You'll have to step
outside.
Mr. Jackson: No worries. I can wait. So how long have you worked at this bar?
Bartender: It's been about three years now. I love the challenges of this job.
Bartender: Hi, what can I get you?
Guest: Hi, I need something to drink. Do you have any specials on?
Bartender: We are famous for our Bloody Mary, and it is on for half price.
Guest: Sorry, but I am in the mood for beer. Do you have any special beer
tonight?
Bartender: Our special beer tonight is a jug of domestic for only $13.
Guest: Well, that is too much for me since I am only drinking alone. Can I have
it a pint only?
Bartender: Yes, you can, but you will have to pay it in normal price instead. Is
that okay for you?
Guest: Yes, I am okay with that.
Bartender: Would you like it on tap, in a can, or in a bottle?
Guest: On tap, please.
Bartender: All right, a pint of beer on tap is coming up.
Guest: Is it possible for me to run a tab?
Bartender: I am afraid not. You will have to pay as you go.
Guest: Okay, how much do I owe you?
Bartender: $7, please.
Guest: Here you are. Bartender: Thank you.

Guest: Bartender, can I have a drink?


Bartender: Sure, what would you like to have, sir?
Guest: I would like a pina colada, please.
Bartender: Would you like the drink blended or on the rocks?
Guest: I would like it on the rock, please.
Bartender: Certainly, sir. I will get that straight away.
Guest: Okay.
Bartender: Should I start you a tab?
Guest: No, you should not. I only have one drink.
Bartender: All right.
Guest: Do you also serve food here?
Bartender: Only bar snacks.
Guest: What bar snacks do you have?
Bartender: We have French fries, nachos, burgers, soft pretzels, and onion
rings.
Guest: I will take nachos, please.
Bartender: All right. Coming up!
Guest: How much do I owe you?
Bartender: That would be $6.
Guest: Wow! That is cheap.
Bartender: All cocktails are half-price until 7 pm.
Guest: Great! Here is the money. Keep the change.
Bartender: Thanks.
Guest: Hi, I would like a pint of local beer on tap, please.
Bartender: I am sorry, we are about to close. So, we can only serve you a shot
or two.
Guest: I can drink a pint in one gulp.
Bartender: Well, in that case, a pint of local beer on tap is coming up.
Guest: Nice! How much is it?
Bartender: It is $7.
Guest: Here you are.
Bartender: Thanks, and here is the change. Next time you should come early
and try our famous Black Russian.
Guest: Yeah, I should.
