Picasso'23 Clo3dplan

This document provides an overview and introduction to CLO3D, a 3D garment simulation software used in the fashion industry. It discusses what CLO3D is, the interface and tools, and provides step-by-step lessons on using various CLO3D functions such as pattern drawing, sewing, adding details like folds and zippers, applying fabrics and textures, finalizing patterns, and rendering garment simulations. The goal is to teach students the fundamentals and workflow of CLO3D through hands-on homework assignments completing tasks like creating patterns, draping virtual garments, and simulating the final 3D rendered looks.

HOMEWORK - LESSON 4 (PT.2):
1. In the 2D window, using editing pattern tools trace the
pattern pieces for a fitted bodice as shown in the middle
of the figure.

2. Create a symmetric pattern with sewing to complete the

front, and create another symmetric pattern to complete
the back.

3. Use arrangement points to arrange onto the avatar.
