You may start in a function like Sales and Distribution where you can be a Relationship Manager / Sales Manager delivering against sales targets and managing sales processes through direct and indirect channels of market reach & distribution. You can then become a Branch Manager or Regional Sales Manager where you start managing branches, larger complex markets, geographies and eventually become a Business Manager who will be responsible for the entire sales function for a particular product group viz., Cards, Mortgages, Business Banking (SME) Citibanking (Wealth Management) or Citi @ Work. Over time, you can move across locations and business functions in various roles in Marketing, Credit, Collections, Finance, Product Management or Operations.
As a Relationship Manager in Asset Sales or Sales & Distribution You may be assigned to Mortgages, Business Banking(SME) or the unified Sales & Distribution team You will hire, train and lead a team of highly motivated Sales executives and achieve desired results. You will develop a sense of customer focus spanning all aspects of the sales process including credit, collections and operations. You will be able to reach a multitude of customers and tap the fast growing Indian mass market by using the channels distribution footprint. You will be expected to forge a symbiotic partnership with your channel partners where you help them manage their business expectations, expenses, marketing plans and profitability thereby further the Banks interest. You may be assigned to Citigold or Citigold Select Acquisition Team where you will be responsible for meeting new to Bank client acquisition targets for the Bank You get to be a Business Manager for your Channel Partners. As a Corporate Relationship Manager in Citi @ Work: You will align with Corporate clients & identify opportunities for offering consumer banking products Constantly engage with the newly acquired corporate to deepen the relationship and increase our market share
