The Department of Computer Science & Engineering is organizing a Coding competition

Code Clash Carnival on March 12th, 2024. We seek the ultimate pleasure of inviting you
to CODE CLASH CARNIVAL to witness budding engineers unleashing their talent,
showcasing their skills, exchanging ideas, and exploring opportunities.

CODE CLASH CARNIVAL includes three tracks:


Track 1: CODE BATTLE

LEVEL 1
Code Conundrum
LEVEL 2
The Grand Algorithmic Gala
LEVEL 3
Jury Round

Work flow
All participants will be assigned unique serial numbers, categorizing them into five distinct
groups for Level 1. At this stage, students will encounter 30 multiple-choice questions
(MCQs) presented through an online quiz platform Kahoot. Following the filtering of
winners from Level 1, the competition will progress to Level 2. In this phase, participants
will face 10 questions, with the requirement to provide accurate answers. Those who
successfully navigate this level will advance to the third round, the jury round, where they
will have the opportunity to showcase their knowledge and logic formulation in front of jury
members.

TRACK 2: Design Craftsmanship

Work flow
Each participant will receive a singular inquiry tasking them with the conceptualization and
design of the user interface for a website or app. Emphasis will be laid on creating an
engaging and visually appealing interface, integrating comprehensive user experience.
Participants are encouraged to utilize design platforms such as Canva or Figma or any other
platform, accessible either on their personal devices or computer lab workstations. Those who
successfully navigate level 1 will advance to the second round, the jury round, where they
will have the opportunity to showcase their creative ideas in line with the theme in front of
the esteemed panel.

TRACK 3: COSMIC CANVAS

The Aesthetic Odyssey

Work flow
Each participant will receive a single question that pertains to the creation of an engaging
single-page poster, with a theme ranging from advertisements to educational content. The
task involves incorporating research dimensions into the design. Participants are free to use
design platforms such as Canva, Figma, or Adobe, and they may opt to work on either
personal devices or utilize the computer lab PCs for this creative endeavour. Those who
successfully navigate this level will advance to the second round, the jury round, where they
will have the opportunity to showcase their creative ideas.

Event Invitation and banner are attached herewith for necessary information. Year wise
coordinators, Class coordinators and vertical mentors are requested to share the invitation and
motivate the students to register fast for the event.
