NARRATIVE REPORT ON THE CRAFTING OF DAILY LESSON LOGS

A lesson plan serves as a guide that a teacher uses every day to determine what the
learners will learn, and how the lesson will be taught as well as All teachers require a lesson plan
that is thoughtfully prepared. It is essential for educators to prepare their lessons on a daily basis
beforehand and implement the most ideal teaching methods.

To upskill teachers on the crafting of the Daily Lesson Log , a SLAC was held last October
2023 with the SLAC leader.
The first topic was a review of DO no. 42 s. 2016. This Deped Order provides the guidelines
in the preparation of daily lessons through the DLL and the DLP by the teachers from K to 12. In
this order, it was stated that teachers who have been in the service for at least one year can use
the DLL.
The LAC leader discussed the importance of lesson planning, and parts of the Daily Lesson
Log, explaining each part to the participants. She then presented a video of the topic for the
teachers to watch. She also talked about the elements of effective teaching.
The participants agreed to use the format presented by the discussant in crafting their daily
lesson log.
