AMD A4-9120 Vs Intel Celeron J4005

The document compares the AMD A4-9120 and Intel Celeron J4005 CPUs. The A4-9120 has a higher base frequency but lower turbo frequency than the J4005. It also supports more advanced instructions like AVX, FMA3 and XOP. However, the J4005 has more memory channels and supports faster DDR4 memory, providing better memory bandwidth. Overall, the A4-9120 is better for general performance due to its higher base clock, while the J4005 may be preferable for memory-intensive tasks due to higher bandwidth. Power consumption is lower for the J4005.

AMD A4-9120 advantages

Base frequency of the processor is higher than the

frequency of the Intel Celeron J4005.
This microprocessor has AVX, AVX2, F16C, FMA3 and
XOP instructions enabled. Even though these extensions
are not widely used in applications yet, their support
should improve in future apps.
CPU-World
The A4-9120 processor has FMA4 instruction set
extension enabled. Only AMD microprocessors offer this
technology, therefore not many software vendors may
support it in the future. Popular comparisons:
