General rules:

The theme for National Engineers Day in 2023 is 'Engineering for a

Sustainable Future'. This theme underscores the vital role that engineers
play in addressing the global challenges of sustainability, environmental
conservation, and creating a better future for all.

1. One person can participate only in one event per day.

2. Participants are responsible for their own electronic components and
other belongings. Electronics Association cannot be held responsible
for any loss/damage.
3. It is requested to the participants to maintain the decorum of the event.
4. It is recommended that all participants follow fair play and adhere to
the rules of the event.
5. The decisions of the organizing committee are final and binding under
all circumstances.
6. The Electronics Association has the right to make slight modifications
in the rules anytime, which the participants will be notified. No
complains will be entertained regarding this.
7. Display of violence or unruly behaviour shall lead to disqualification.
If the above rules are not followed it will lead to disqualification on-spot.

Eligibility criteria:
1. Must be studying in 3rd, 5th or 7th semester in SoECE.
2. Must be a student of KLE Technological University, Hubballi.

Digital Circuit Design Competition

Digital architects and innovators of the binary domain, gather to

celebrate the convergence of creativity and logic in the Digital Circuit Design
Competition. Prepare to be spellbound as we explore the limitless
possibilities of digital circuitry and witness the birth of groundbreaking
designs in the electrifying competition.

Rules:
● Team of maximum 2
● Round 1: Problem statement of an application will be given, for which
the participants will have to design a digital circuit on paper
● Round 2: simulate the same circuit on Proteus or similar software.
● Blank paper will be provided by us for round 1, but you should get your
own pen/pencil.
● Phones or electronic devices will not be allowed during the first round.
● Usage of internet is strictly prohibited.

Prerequisites:
 Should have a basic understanding of logic gates, adders, subtractors,
comparators, decoder, encoder, MUX, code converters like gray to
binary, excess-3 to BCD, and vice-versa, etc.
 Should be able to design and simulate circuits in Proteus software.

C-Programming Competition

Unleash your code-crafting skills to explore new paradigm of

programming. Welcome to the ultimate battleground of logic and precision.
In this arena, lines of code will weave tales of innovation, and algorithms will

Problem statement will be given to you on spot. You have to write a
code in C-language for the same and show us the execution.

Rules:
 Team of maximum 2
 You have to get your own laptop with CodeBlocks IDE installed
already.
 Online complier or any other IDE is not allowed.
 Use of internet is not allowed.

Prerequisites:
 You must have a thorough knowledge of C-Programming language
and its syntax.
 You must be able to code for the problem statement.

the participants will have to design an analog circuit on paper
● Round 2: simulate the same circuit design on LTSpice or similar
software.
● Blank paper will be provided by us for round 1, but you should get your
own pen/pencil
● Phones or electronic devices will not be allowed during the first round
● Usage of internet is strictly prohibited.

Prerequisites:
 Working of basic analog devices like diode, transistor, MOSFETs, etc.
 Should be able to design and simulate circuits in LT Spice.

come to life. Dear electronics enthusiasts and Arduino aficionados, let’s
celebrate the extraordinary world of embedded design using Arduino. In this
competition we’ll witness the fusion of software and hardware expertise,
where participants will breathe life into their ideas through ingenious
microcontroller programming and cutting-edge design.

Rules:
 Team of minimum 2 and maximum 4 members
 Problem statement for a project will be given on spot. The circuit has
to be designed and implemented on Arduino within the stipulated time.
 We will give you a comprehensive list of components required and you
have to get them yourself to the event, including Arduino board (UNO
or Mega), jumper wires, motors, sensors, etc.
 You should bring your own laptop with Arduino IDE installed and cable.
 Usage of internet is strictly prohibited.

Prerequisites:
 Must have a knowledge of the working & interfacing of Arduino.
 Should be able to write code of peripheral devices including DC Motor,
Stepper motor, IR Sensor, Ultrasonic sensor.
