Application
HID’s ProxPoint Plus reader combines multiple configuration options with an attractive,
inconspicuous design and economical price. Its secure potted electronics are ideal for
both indoor and outdoor applications.
Features
 Features a beeper and multicolor LED which can be host-and/or locally controlled.
 Enables various beeper and LED configurations, depending on individual site
requirements.
 Can read HID cards with AMTEL formats (30 bits) and order format up to 85 bits.

Application
The ProxPro proximity card reader’s weatherproof design and architecturally attractive
enclosure allows easy mounting indoors or out. The ProxPro Reader is ideal for
applications requiring a larger read range.
Features
 Affords high reliability, consistent read range characteristics, and low power
consumption in a single, easy-toinstall package.
 Features multicolor LED, internal or host control of the LED, and/or beeper and a
beeper “off” switch for silent operation.
 Provides Wiegand protocol interface compatibility with all standard access control
systems.
 Can read HID cards with AMTEL formats (30 bits) and order format up to 85 bits.
 Compatible with AMTEL with XPIP & Voidex Panels.
 Offers an optional, fully integrated personal identification number keypad for
heightened security. Can be mounted to glass (using the optional glass mounting kit).

Application
HID’s MaxiProx Reader is ideal for installations incorporating parking control and long
read range applications. The MaxiProx reader packages all the electronics in one rugged,
attractive and easy-to installhousing.
Features
 Long read range distance (up to 8’ with ProxPass®).
 Autotune allows read range to be maintained within four inches of metal.
 Wiegand, Clock-and-Data and selectable serial outputs available.
 “Parking hold” feature allows connection to a loop detector to ensure accurate detection of
vehicles in parking lanes.
 Can read HID cards with AMTEL formats (30 bits) and order format up to 85 bits.
 Compatible with AMTEL with XPIP & Voidex Panels.
 Multicolor LED with internal or host control of the LED and beeper.
 Two MaxiProx units can operate one meter apart for “HI-LO” (truck and car) installations.
 Reader supervision signal for CASI-RUSCO panels.
Mounting: mount on non-metallic surfaces for optimal read range performance.
Audiovisual indication: when a proximity card is presented to the reader, the red
LED flashes green and the beeper sounds. The multicolor LED and beeper can also be controlled
individually by the host system.
Diagnostics: on reader power-up, an internal self-test routine checks and verifies the setup configuration,
determines the internal or external control of the LED and beeper, and initializes the reader’s operation.
Indoor/outdoor design: sealed in a rugged, weatherized polycarbonate enclosure designed to withstand
harsh environments as well as provide a high degree of vandal resistance for reliable
performance anywhere.
Easily interfaced: interfaces with all existing Wiegand, Clockand- Data, RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485
protocol access control systems. The serial interfaces support baud rates of 1200, 2400, 4800, and 9600
baud.
Security: includes a tamper switch to provide electronic notification of reader tampering. Recognizes card
formats up to 85 bits.
