TRAINING OBJECTIVES:
In order to reduce unemployment and poverty in the society, this curriculum has
been designed under MoU with M/s SERVIS Ltd., to train the persons to make their
livelihood as industrial electrician with the sound know how of PLC programming.
This training program will provide opportunities to those who want to equip
themselves with such knowledge and skills which will be helpful for their employment
within the period of 6-months instead of working as helper for years.

Further this curriculum is developed by considering the requirements of local market


/ industry and need of the area which will enable the pass-outs to get the job in
relevant market.

At the end of the course the participant should have :-

1. Attained the knowledge of the basic principles of Electrical & Automation


technology.
2. Learned industrial motor controlled circuits.
3. The capability to understand the basics of PLC- based systems.

CURRICULUM SALIENT:

SKILL COMPETENCY DETAILS:

On successful completion of this course, the trainee should be able to:

1. Operate voltage and current measuring instruments.


2. Use sensors to accomplish any task.
3. Demonstrate and troubleshoot the motor control circuits, used in industry.
4. Develop Relay Ladder diagrams to control any circuit.
5. Compute the PLC ladder diagram.
6. Modify the program of PLC.
7. Prepare and apply the PLC program for digital I/Os.

12-State and explain the counters of PLC and the information associated with
these counters.
