INTRODUCTION

Nurses play a crucial role in the healthcare industry by applying their knowledge, empathy, and

dedication to patient care. It is impossible to overestimate the importance of precise, succinct,

and understandable reports in nursing practice, whether they are used to record patient

evaluations, lay out care plans, or summarise important episodes.

This study is intended to act as a compass, helping nurses at different phases of their careers to

master the vital ability of writing reports. It aims to shed light on the basic components of writing

effective reports, including organising techniques, necessary components, and the value of

thorough documentation for nurses.

In order to help nurses, create thorough, polished, and high-quality documentation, this study

attempts to provide them with the information and resources they need to successfully negotiate

the complex world of report writing.

This aims to empower nurses in improving their proficiency and confidence in producing reports

that adhere to the highest standards of accuracy, clarity, and integrity. It does this by going over

the fundamentals of report writing and going into detail about practical tips, examples, and real-

life scenarios.

Moreover, it aims to provide light on the way for nurses starting their report writing journey by

combining theoretical insights with helpful advice, empowering them to make a substantial

contribution to the improvement of patient care and the larger healthcare environment.

Essentially, involves communicating important details, encouraging teamwork, guaranteeing

responsibility, and, at the end of the day, raising the bar for the quality of care given. It acts as a

beacon, showing nurses the way to succeed in their documentation efforts and significantly

impact the constantly changing healthcare industry.

SIGNIFICANCE

It is extremely important because it connects academic knowledge to practical application. It

gives pupils the ability to put their knowledge into practice, developing critical abilities and

perseverance in the face of successes and setbacks. This shift is essential to the development of

capable and caring nurses who are equipped to handle the challenges of patient care.

LITERATURE REVIEW

Nursing is a practice-based discipline. Nursing consists of two processes, practical and

theoretical, and its main task is to train qualified and competent nurses who have the necessary

knowledge, attitude and skills to maintain and improve the health of society. (Wang et al., 2019)

One of the most important parts of nursing is clinical education; it is very important in terms of

personal development and promotion of practical skills. (Saaran et al., 2020) The clinical

environment is the learning environment for nursing students; they socialize in this environment

and acquire the skills necessary to enter the profession. Considering the importance of the role of

nurses in the formation of basic skills and professional skills of nursing students and the

challenges that working with nurses brings to nurses as clients of the learning, the aim of this

study was to explain the challenges that work. creates . nurses for nurses to study. (Kilcullen et

al., 2019) Lincoln's criteria of convenience and reliability were used to ensure data accuracy and

reliability. The researcher achieved this through long-term collaboration with the participants.

After extracting the initial codes, we obtained opinions from participants about the accuracy of

the codes and interpretations; If they did not agree with these points of view, two qualitative

research specialists drafted and verified the required agreement on the selected codes and

classifications. (Polit et al., 2021) The results of this study indicate that several factors, such as
inappropriate social norms, inadequate organizational climate, and insufficient resources, affect

nursing-related learning. Similarly, an important point for students in the study by Arkan et al.

was that nurses have many positive and negative direct effects on the clinical learning of nursing

students. (Arkan et al., 2019) Another study (Bradbury-Jones) reported nursing student rejection

by the nursing team and lack of student respect as two clinical barriers to teaching, consistent

with the findings of this study. also reported nurse support and nurse attitudes as factors

influencing clinical training. The results of another study also highlighted the stress of dealing

with students and nurses at the institution. (Papp et al., 2023) During the pandemic, the nursing

curriculum and basic science and health system course content in Turkey were changed online.

When universities were evacuated from their campuses, many students had to stop their research

projects and internships. In addition, students had financial problems, such as returning home

and taking care of their property. The literature suggests that public health crises can have many

negative effects on college students. (Lovrić et al., 2020) The pandemic caused a number of

psychological consequences for students, such as fear, anxiety and depression, as well as

behavioral changes, such as sleep disturbances, stress and eating difficulties (Liu et al., 2020). So

this health crisis affects not only frontline workers and clinical administrators, but also

universities, colleges and entire systems. The role of schools of nursing in developing the next

generation of caregivers faces unique challenges. Well-trained professionals are needed to ensure

that the global health and medical community realizes the potential of nursing. (Carolan et al.,

2020) In a society facing social distancing, isolation and quarantine measures and needing nurses

on the front lines, the important question is how nursing education will continue. A detailed

analysis of nursing students and # 039; Experiences during this period can help support

education, close gaps and produce well-trained nurses. (Dewart et al., 2020).
METHODOLOGY

This quantitative cross-sectional study was designed to access the variations during nursing

journey using a questionnaire-based survey among healthcare professions of Shifa International

Hospital and students of Shifa College of Nursing. This study was conducted during the month

DISCUSSION

According to the results 75 % participants stated that that were able to cope with the challenging

situations faced during the clinical practice and 25 % stated that they weren't able to cope with

the tough situations. Nursing is challenging profession from day , one face a lot of situation and

many are not able to cope with the tough situations they face during this journey. According to a

study by Timothy R Jordan The Impact of Perceived Stress and Coping Adequacy on the Health

of Nurses: A Pilot Investigation stated that 92% had moderate-to-very high stress levels.

According the study 95% of the participants stated that in their nursing journey they faced ethical

dilemma and 5 % said that they were strong minded and didn’t faced any dilemma during their

journey. Codes of ethics exist to keep patients and providers safe, and as a clinician, it’s

important to do your part to uphold them. According to a study done on July 14, 2020 The first

nationwide study on facing and solving ethical dilemmas among healthcare professionals in

Slovenia out of 483 HCPs who answered the questions on ethical dilemmas, 340 (70.4%; 95%

CI: 66.7–74.5%) (very) frequently encountered ethical dilemmas during their work.

Balancing work and personal life is very important aspect in every human life to have a peaceful

life. According our study 75 % participants were not able to balance their work life with their

study and personal life but 25 % were able to balance their professional and personal life.

According to a study The association between work-life imbalance, employees' unhappiness,

work's impact on family, and family impacts on work among nurses: A Cross-sectional Study

more then half of the study population weren't able to balance work and personal life.
Stress and coping skills affect nurses' health and work performance. However, little is known

about the interaction between stress perception and perceived coping ability and its impact on

nurses' health. This study examined the interaction of stress, coping, and perceived stress and

coping skills on health and job performance. A valid and reliable questionnaire was completed by

120 nurses in a mid western hospital in the United States. In general, nurses were not healthy:

92% had moderate to very high levels of stress; 78% slept less than 8 hours a night; 69% do not

exercise regularly; 63% ate less than 5 servings of fruit and vegetables per day; and 22% were

classified as binge eaters. When faced with workplace stress, 70% of nurses reported consuming

more junk food to survive and 63% more food than usual. Nurses in the "high stress/poor

coping" group had the worst health outcomes and the highest health risk behaviours compared to

the other groups. The composite variables of perceived stress and perceived coping ability

affected nurses' health. Therefore, workplace health promotion programs for nurses should focus

equally on stress reduction, stress management, and the development of healthy coping skills.

LIMITATIONS

Some limitations in our study noted. Firstly, the relatively small size (40 respondents) did not

allow us to detect statistically significant differences in responses between professions. Secondly,

a self- administered questionnaire used to collect data so minimum response bias could be

present.

RECOMMENDATION

The recommendations provided are intended to improve the quality of the study and provide a

better understanding of changes in care. As we have given the limitations of small sample size

further, to know the dynamic nature of nursing journeys, consider conducting a longitudinal

study that follows participants over an extended period. Participants giving interviews or focus
groups share their experiences in more detail, with challenges faced and strategies employed to

overcome them. By addressing these recommendations in future research, we can further

improve our understanding of the experiences of practitioners and students and ultimately

support the development of better training and support in the healthcare sector. Work on

communication skills, both with patients and colleagues. Practice active listening, empathy, and

clarity in conveying information. Be open-minded and willing to learn in clinical settings. Ask

questions, observe experienced nurses, and seek feedback to adapt and excel. Make use of

textbooks, on-line resources, nursing journals, and professional organizations to stay updated

with current trends and research in the field.

CONCLUSION

In summary, our study aims to explore the changes experienced in the nursing process and

strategies for these changes. Despite the useful findings, the study acknowledges its limitations,

particularly the small sample size and potential for response bias.

The healthcare industry, especially the nursing profession, is dynamic and full of constant change

and challenges. Because caregivers play an important role in patient care, understanding the

downsides of their journey is important to continually improve education, training, and support.
