BUSINESS PROPOSAL GUIDE

This Business Plan (Business Proposal) Writing Guide (BP Guide) intends to serve as a guide in
preparing the Senior High School students. While the BP Guide tries to be applicable to as many
types of businesses that a student may consider, the final content is left to the better judgment of
the adviser and the panel members tasked to assess the BP and its implementation. Some
sections, hence, may be added or deleted as the case may be.

a. Our business will be located at General Malvar St, Poblacion District, Davao City
III. MARKETING ASPECT:
b. Product Description – Customers can get talent from Made in Craft in addition to food
and entertainment. If you prefer handmade designs of your own, along with the amazing
toppings that suit your ideal taste, you can design your cake however you like for that
enjoyable moment you and your loved ones will gradually come to embrace. These skills
allow us to convey our thoughts and feelings and can match perfectly for gifting.
c. Proprietary Position – The Company offers unique services, and activities that no
business has ever done in the respective area.

a. Target Market Profile –This business should attract secondary-level students ranging
from 13 to 18 years old, as well as college students who are interested in the unique
products and services that will be offered by this business. This will also satisfy the
benefits that they seek, such as a place to study, socialize, and eat while being given the
restaurant's unique service “crochet making”. The products that are listed in the menu
will minimally increase or decrease from time to time if the ingredients exported from the
supplier rise in a significant amount because the business will try to maintain them to
meet the expected budget that the target audience has. The business will start small, and
it's expected to slowly grow into a large-scale business. The business location will start in
Mindanao, Davao City. The potential customers will be easily identified as numerous
schools classified at the secondary and college/university levels are located near the area
of the business. This should also invite the target audience to pick the business as their
first choice or go-to for brunches and dinners, as it provides unique services and products
and is the first in Davao. Above 30% of secondary-level students and 50% of college and
university students in the target audience are expected to try out the products that are
available. The expected 2nd and 3rd time customers at least are around 17% of secondary
level students and 25% college/university students . The customers should be able to buy
a few units with their purchasing power but will decrease if inflation strikes. And the
expected customers who will switch to competitors since the business is also planning to
implement special promos and offers to customers.
IV. OPERATIONAL ASPECT:
a. Suppliers – The supplier of raw materials and machines to make our products will be the
wholesalers and warehouse. Ingredients such as flour, eggs, butter, coffee beans, whole milk
and machines like coffee maker can be bought in bulk from wholesalers. It also lessen the
cost of ingredients compared to buying at retailed price.
b. Raw Materials – MINI CAKE INGREDIENTS:
DIRECT MATERIALS: Batter: All-purpose flour, unsalted butter, water, granulated
sugar, buttermilk, eggs, oil, baking powder, salt, flavors, vanilla extract, and cocoa
powder. Icing and decoration: icing sugar, whipped cream, sprinkles, chocolate chips,
cookie pieces, marshmallows, nuts, candies, strawberries, and cherries.
INDIRECT MATERIALS: mixing bowls, scales, whisks, hand mixers, measuring cups,
spoons, sieves, rolling pins, silicone baking mats, spatulas, baking trays and tins, a cooling
rack, and a convection oven. Equipment for decorations: piping bag, nozzles, icing
smoother, cake leveler, turntable, palette knife, and pastry brush.
Coffee Ingredients: Cappuccino; Direct Materials: Ground Dark Roast Coffee, Water,
Whole Milk (Foamed Milk) ESPRESSO: Direct materials: ground dark roast coffee, hot
water.
ICED LATTE: Direct materials: ice, ground dark roast coffee, whole milk, and optional
sweetener (vanilla syrup). Indirect materials: coffee machine, coffee brewer, hot water
dispenser, frother pitcher, measurement cups, spoons, scales, and cups.
c. Staffing Requirements - This section should identify and explain who the people Staffing

venture are. Are there written job descriptions or skills requirements for each (key) positions
in your business – supervisors, employees, and laborers? A summary of their responsibilities
should also be presented. Are all (key) positions already filled-up? If not, the recruitment

Are there other benefits that they should be receiving?
V. ORGANIZATIONAL ASPECT:

b. Ownership – The members who are involved in making the business has a 9.09%
ownership.
c. Organizational Structure and Key Management Personnel - An organizational chart
may be presented. A brief regarding the business experience, affiliations, expertise of key
management personnel should be presented.
