1. What interests you the most about this position?

- Working currently as COS Legal Officer, I am already familiar with what the position/job
requires. The most interesting thing for me about the position is the fact that I am able to apply my
legal knowledge while helping improve the lives of others – farmer beneficiaries. Added bonus which
is also interesting about the position is that I am able to visit different municipalities and meet and
encounter different kinds of people.

2. How do you define continuous improvement?

- Continuous improvement for me is the ability to welcome, adapt and apply changes. In this
world, change is inevitable. In the legal field, laws are dynamic. To be able to improve as an
individual, we must be open to changes especially when it is for the betterment of life in general.

3. Can you share about the time you had to be flexible or adaptable?
- Handling several clients with different backgrounds and personalities is a challenging task.
This is perhaps the best example of the times when I had to be flexible or adaptable. I need to adjust
and understand where they are coming from in order for me to properly address their concerns.

4. Tell us about a time that you had to work according to a policy you disagreed with.
- In my previous work as a Legal Officer of a Manpower Agency, one of the company policies
was the dismissal of an employee on the ground of attitude problem. As someone who has a fair
knowledge of Labor Laws, dismissing an employee on that ground would constitute illegal dismissal.
Refusing to dismiss the employee, I talked to the Management and told informed them of the legal
implications if I follow said policy. Fortunately, they agreed with me and eventually change that
particular policy to comply with the law.

5. What does your ideal day look like?

An ideal day for me is waking up early to walk/jog. Prepare and come to work on time, and be able to
finish the tasks/work I need to do before the day ends in order to continually help clients. Be able to
come home to have dinner and quality time with my family.
