Parts affected are (162) Ram, (163) O-Ring, (164) Axle and (169) Hollow

The ram diameter is reduced from 20mm down to 19mm

DW567 – BH26 Rotary Hammer

On re-assembly, smear parts with a little grease.

Ensure the ram (162) and seal (156) are greased.
Pack the gearbox with 60 grams (approximately 52 cc) of grease 870889-49.

Fit seal (156) with the round notches to the top.

Pull out the shield (155) before removing intershaft SA (171).

To remove the lever cover (153 / 178), use 2 small screwdrivers in the slots provided.
This will release the self-locking legs. Prise out the cover.

To remove / fit the cam (160).

Position between drill only and hammer drill position using the lever (151 / 177).
Lift the plate (158) 5 - 10 mm and then push out cam.

The washer (146) is fitted with the 'open' face toward the circlip (166).

The needle bearing (172) is fitted with the needles facing the washer (173).

Type 1 only
Repair kit (105-114-135-136) contains 2 x brushes (105), 2 x flat plug (114), 1 x choke lead (135)
and 1 x choke lead (136). This kit is only to be used for markets CH-GB-QS-XW.
