Q.NO.1
SOMETHING I WANT TO LEARN
I am an introvert person. I have shy, contemplative and reserved nature.
And I tend to have difficulty adjusting to social situations. I can’t express my
thoughts, my feelings and emotions freely with others. So, I want to learn
music.

Music is clearly the most powerful tool used for expression. It doesn't judge
or discriminate, and there's always a piece for you. This, of course, is music,
which might be the greatest invention known to humans. Music has become
an important part of society throughout the world as people use it to
express themselves. All it takes is to listen to the very different and
contrasting genres of music we have today. Each different type of genre
conveys different meanings. Jazz is associated with relaxation, the blues
with sorrow, and so on.
Whatever instrument it may be, your voice, or a piano, you are
expressing yourself. Music provides a great source of communication. For
example, if speech was the only form of communication, and there was no
smiling, sign language, or music, life would prove to be very dull and
unfulfilling. Most music has a purpose, in which the composer/performer is
trying to relay a message to their audience. This is especially noticed on the
radio, with song after song, each displaying its very own message.

Expressing yourself through music can help you keep in touch with
how you are feeling. It can also release a lot of tension that you may be
carrying around with you. Music can help prevent your feelings from
bursting out in situations or ways that are embarrassing and inappropriate.
This happens when people get out of touch with their feelings, something
that music can help solve. Everyone needs some time to themselves to
reflect on their feelings, which can easily be done while listening to music.
Being able to express how you feel through music may help you make
better decisions about what is right for you now.

1
Your feelings and expressions are closely associated with music. I
personally don't know of anything else (outside of first-hand interaction
with other human beings) that can affect me the way music does. You can
either express the way you feel and get out of that trap, or you can just
drown in your problems by playing the sorry blues. All my life I've been
involved with music and I also realize that music is a difficult, but beautiful
thing that people should take more time to appreciate. It is often
overlooked as being unimportant, but I know how useful it can be in
expressing oneself. In fact, in life, there's nothing that makes me feel more at
peace than music." So, to learn music, I think following steps would be
helpful for me.

1) Starting with Music Theory Basics.

2) Conducting Through Online Research.

3) Choosing My Type of Music.

4) Picking Up a Music Instrument.

5) Selecting Beginner Music Pieces.

6) Practicing Regularly.

7) Scoring my Performance.

8) Setting Realistic Goals.

Music affects us in many different ways, and provides us with many

benefits. The brain can even be improved by listening to music, and so can
our mental and physical health. Music can even be used to boost our mood.
However, we have to know which type of music is most beneficial for us, as
it is normally based on personal preference, even though classical music is
usually the most rewarding. This ancient art is also one of the most
powerful forms of healing for many different sicknesses. Music is truly
amazing and I will surely learn it one day.

Q.NO.2 STUDENTS IN NEPAL TENDS TO CHOOSE
STUDY ABROAD
Studying abroad has become increasingly popular among Nepalese
students in recent years. This trend can be attributed to several reasons,
including the desire for higher-quality education, greater employment
opportunities, and exposure to different cultures.

Nepal, a small South Asian country, is still in its developmental stage

and lacks adequate resources to offer quality education to its students. This
has resulted in a large number of Nepalese students seeking education
abroad. Furthermore, studying abroad offers greater opportunities for
personal and professional growth. It allows students to learn about
different cultures, improve communication skills, and establish
international networks. Nepalese have been spending billions to go to
foreign countries on student visas. The amount students spent on foreign
education increased by
171.2 per cent to Rs 67.7 billion in the last fiscal year compared to
20202021, according to the Nepal Rastra Bank data.
Studying abroad may be one of the most beneficial experiences for a
college student. By studying abroad, students have the opportunity to study
in a foreign nation and take in the allure and culture of a new land. Here is a
list of the top 10 reasons to study abroad are:

1)See the World

The biggest reason you should consider a study abroad program is the
opportunity to see the world. By studying abroad, you will experience a
brand-new country with incredible new outlooks, customs and activities.
The benefits of studying abroad include the opportunity to see new
terrains, natural wonders, museums and landmarks of your host nation. In
addition, when you’re abroad, you won’t be limited to traveling in just the
nation in which you are studying – you can see neighboring countries as
well! For example, if you study in France, you’ll have the option to travel
through various parts of Europe including London, Barcelona, and Rome.

3
2. Education

Another reason you might consider studying abroad is for the chance to
experience different styles of education. By enrolling in a study abroad
program, you’ll have the chance to see a side of your major that you may
not have been exposed to at home. You’ll find that completely immersing
yourself in the education system of your host country is a great way to
really experience and understand the people, its traditions, and its culture.

3) Take in a New Culture

Many students who choose to study abroad are leaving their home for the
first time. When they arrive in their new host country, they are fascinated
by the distinct cultural perspectives. When you study abroad you will find
incredible new foods, customs, traditions, and social atmospheres. You will
find that you have a better understanding and appreciation for the nation’s
people and history. You will have the opportunity to witness a completely
new way of life.

4) Hone Your Language Skills

Chances are if you’re planning on studying abroad, one of the major draws
is the opportunity to study a foreign language. Studying abroad grants you
the opportunity to completely immerse yourself in a new language, and
there is
no better way to learn than to dive right in. In addition to the considerable
language practice, you will get just in day-to-day life, your host university
will likely offer language courses to provide you with a more formal
education. Immerse yourself in a new culture and go beyond a purely
academic experience

5. Career Opportunities

When you finish your study abroad program and return home, you will
return with a new perspective on culture, language skills, a great education,
and a willingness to learn. Needless to say, all of these are very attractive to
future employers. Many students find that they love their host country so
much that they decide to seek work there. If you can relate, you will find
that a local education will be very valuable when searching for a potential
job in that country.
4

Likewise, there are drawbacks of studying abroad as well. They are as

follow:

1) Studying abroad can be expensive. It is the matter of problem for middle

class family to afford expenses.

2) There will be language barriers.

3) Even for the most advanced speakers, immersion into a new culture will
stretch your language capabilities.

4) You may experience culture shock.

5) You might get homesick.

6) Re-integration can be hard.

Overall, studying abroad provides Nepalese students with better

educational opportunities, career prospects, exposure to new cultures, and
a stable environment to grow and learn.

Q.NO.3
TEN NEPALI STUDENTS KILLED IN HAMAS ATTACK IN ISRAEL

Aayushma Shrestha, National News reporter

Monday, oct 30, 2023

Kathmandu, Nepal

Ten Nepali students have been killed while four others were injured in
armed attacks by the Palestinian Islamist group Hamas on Israel on
Saturday. Fighting was still continuing on Sunday in some parts of southern
Israel as security forces pursued the militants.

As per the Nepali embassy in Tel Aviv, one student is still missing. While
the attack spread terror across the country, 17 Nepali students in Kibbutz
Alumim, an area near the Gaza Strip, came under direct attack by the
militants. Of them, only two, who are under police protection, were left
uninjured. In a statement on Sunday night, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
said the injured are undergoing treatment at a local hospital.

“Our embassy is coordinating with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on how

the bodies can be repatriated after examination,” Kanta Rizal, the Nepali
ambassador in Israel, told the Post. “We are also in touch with the Israeli
authorities.” Earlier, on Sunday afternoon, informing the House of
Representatives about the situation of Nepalese in Israel, Minister for
Foreign Affairs NP Saud had said out of 17 Nepali students in Kibbutz
Alumim, the area near the Gaza Strip, 12 were missing and some were
“feared dead.”

Those who died in the attacks are students of agriculture from Sudur
Paschim University. Various political parties have demanded the
government to take diplomatic initiatives to rescue and repatriate
Nepalese. Issuing a statement, Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur
Deuba urged the government to ascertain the exact number of Nepalese in
Israel and ensure their safety. It also has demanded their repatriation.

The main opposition CPN-UML has also asked Prime Minister Pushpa
Kamal Dahal to talk to his Israeli counterpart to rescue the Nepalese.
