activities to cater to the different learning needs of the students. For slower learners, the teacher will
provide additional support and scaffolding, such as providing simplified explanations and breaking
down complex concepts into smaller chunks. For faster learners, the teacher will provide extension
activities and opportunities for them to apply their knowledge in more challenging ways. Group work
and discussions will also allow for peer learning and support, ensuring that all learners are engaged
and able to participate at their own pace.

Overview:
In this lesson, learners will focus on two main areas: basic hygiene
principles and physical education. They will learn about the importance of
maintaining personal hygiene to prevent the spread of diseases, and will
also participate in physical activities that involve the concept of invasion.
Additionally, learners will learn about safety issues related to playing
these types of games and how to protect themselves in threatening and
risky situations. This lesson also builds on the previous lesson's focus on
Constitutional rights and responsibilities, as learners will understand their
responsibility to maintain personal hygiene for the greater good of
society. It also leads into the next lesson's focus on dealing with abuse, as
learners will learn how to protect themselves in potentially dangerous
situations.
Closure (5 minutes):
- Learners will be thanked for their participation
and reminded of the upcoming lesson on dealing
with abuse.
- The teacher will collect any worksheets or
activities completed by the learners.
- Learners will be dismissed from the classroom.
DIFFERENTIATION
The differentiation strategy for this lesson will include providing visual aids and hands-on activities for
slower learners to better understand the concepts of hygiene and safety. For faster learners,
additional challenges and extensions will be provided, such as researching and presenting on
different types of indigenous games. Group work and peer teaching will also be incorporated to
ensure that all learners are engaged and supported in their learning.
