APPLICATION
The CJC™ BLAT 27/27 Filter Insert is used in
CJC™ Filter Separators ideal for filtration of
mineral based oils of up to ISO VG 150 cSt and
is used for, typically:
! hydraulic oils
! turbine lubricating oils
! gear oils
! diesel oils

FILTRATION CAPABILITY
• Particle Removal
All CJC™ Filter Inserts have the following
filtration degree :
> 3 µm (micron) absolute
= 98.7% of all solid particles
>0.8 µm (micron) nominal
= 50% of all solid particles
- retained in each pass.
CJC™ BLAT 27/27 Filter Insert
The dirt holding capacity of a BLAT 27/27
Insert is 4 litres of evenly distributed solids.

• Oxidation By-products
Degradation products, soft contaminants (resin
/ varnish) are adsorbed and absorbed into the
cellulose material.
The cellulose will retain appr. 4 kg of degrada-
tion products.

• Water Removal
Unlike B Filter Inserts the BLAT 27/27 will not
permanently hold water, as its free passage is
integral to the water separation process.
