1 Make sure all of your content is backed up before activating your new device.

2 Turn off your old device and turn off your new device.

3 If your new 5G device came with a 5G SIM card, insert SIM card if not already inserted, skip to step5.

4 If your new device did not come with a 5G SIM card, then remove SIM card from your old device and insert it into
the new device.

5 Press and hold the on/off button to turn on new device.

6 Follow the Setup Assistant onscreen instructions.

• If activating via the Wi-Fi network, enter the Wi-Fi password then tap Join.

• If activating via iTunes connect to a computer via a USB cable. The latest version of
iTunes is available at www.iTunes.com/download.com

7 When prompted, review the iPhone Software License Agreement and if you agree, tap Agree to continue.

8 Complete the remaining steps of the Setup Assistant, including restoring data from your iTunes or iCloud backup if
applicable.

9 Confirm that the status at the top of the screen changes from No Service to Verizon - This may take up to 2-3
minutes.

On the new device, dial #TEC (#892) to place a test call. Test connectivity by visiting a website on the browser. If

your test are not successfull, turn the device off and on again. If still unsuccessful, call us at 800-922-0204.

Restore contacts to your new device

Retrieve applications previously downloaded in My Media
