1. INTRODUCTION
Details related to the fundamentals of building and managing a data warehouse, performing ETL
(Extract, Transform, Load) operations, and using data mining techniques to extract insights from
large datasets are covered. You will also learn how to design and implement effective Business
Intelligence (BI) solutions to support decision-making in your organizations.
The course will also cover various topics such as data pre-processing, exploratory data analysis,
data visualization, Web scrapping, statistical inference, and machine learning. Students will learn
how to use popular programming languages such as Python, along with relevant libraries and
frameworks for data manipulation and analysis. Also included are auto-evaluated hands-on
exercises and assessments that will allow you to apply the concepts and techniques learned to
real-world problems.
By the end of this course, you will learn the basic concepts of IT fundamentals, RDBMS concepts,
Python programming fundamentals and you will have a solid understanding of the data aspects,
and data science process and will be able to apply data science techniques to solve a variety of
problems. You will also be able to communicate your findings effectively through data
visualizations and presentations.
Please avail Help Desk in case you find any challenges during the learning, or you can raise a
query to your assigned mentor through "My Queries" section.

2. LEARNING GUIDE
The purpose of this handbook is to provide an important facet of the Analytics Insights Program.
It includes a list of links and steps illustrating how to access learning sources.
The Analytics Insights stream has 4 Micro-Certification courses. This learning journey of 18
weeks consists of 4-course modules covering:
1. Micro Certification 1 - IT Fundamentals
• Logic Development
• Basic Agile
• N tier architecture
• OOP
Program Highlights
• Completely online: delivered 24x7 through a best-in-class digital skilling platform.
• A learning approach based on the idea that skills are acquired through practice, and
feedback: you will find that each course has an ample number of exercises, quizzes,
and hands-on labs that are designed to help you become confident in the practical
application of concepts.
• Support from SMEs as you progress.
• Discussion forum and help desk support.
5
Key Components of the Program
• The program is structured as a set of course modules.
• Each module is a learning unit that consists of introduction videos, learning content,
code-demos, hands-on lab exercises (wherever applicable), and knowledge-check
quizzes.
• Every module includes both mandatory and additional activities. XP points are
exclusively assigned for the mandatory activities (Quizzes and Hands-on) only and all
other activities given are for practice purpose. As you complete more mandatory
activities, the XP points will keep increasing.
• The additional activities are provided to help you to gain clearer and deeper
understanding of the topics covered.
• Upon completion of 75% learning of all mandatory activities of a module, the next
module in sequence will be opened and you will be qualified to appear for the micro
certification of the respective modules.
• To be eligible to attempt a micro-certification, you must have to complete 75% of the
learning of all mandatory activities of the associated module by midnight (11.59 PM) on
the day before the assessment schedule. You can track your learning progress from the
"Module Wise Completion" section of your performance dashboard.
• Candidates are allowed to take only one attempt, and it will be conducted in 2 different
occurrences for each of the micro certifications and the passing score is 70%. Your
Micro certification score will be updated under the “Attempt-wise Assessment Score” on
your performance dashboard page.
• To avoid running out of time to prepare for the next module in sequence and to gain
extra bonus XPs, you are expected to take the assessment on the first occurrence.
• As per the schedule, you will be automatically enrolled and notified about the micro
certification Assessments. 75% learning completion of mandatory activities is a must for
both Assessments and course module enablement.
• To complete the program, you will have to clear all the five micro-certifications.
• You can avail help desk in case you find any challenges during the learning.
