Rules:-
Event Flow:
1) Download and Register:
To begin your journey, download THE DCC
APP from the Play Store Link .
Register for the CTF event within the app.
Team leaders must register their team and
with team size ranging from 1 to 3 on the
DCC APP.
Each team member must complete
individual registration .

2) CTF COMMENCES:
The event will commence promptly at 10:00 AM
on April 6th and will run until 7:00 PM.

3)TEAM DYNAMICS:
- Form a team consisting of 1 to 3 members.
- Collaborate and strategize together to tackle
the challenges effectively.

GAMEPLAY:
SOLVE THE RIDDLE:
- Your journey begins with a riddle presented on
THE DCC APP.
- Put your thinking caps on and solve the riddle to
unveil clues leading to a specific location within
the NIT Agartala campus or its nearby areas.

NAVIGATE TO THE LOCATION:


- Once you've deciphered the riddle, it will guide
you to a designated location where a QR code
awaits.
- You must physically be at the location to scan
the QR code using your smartphone.

SCAN THE QR CODE:


- Upon successfully scanning the QR code, you will
unlock the next level of the treasure hunt.
- Prepare yourself for a new riddle that will
challenge your intellect and lead you to the next
location.

REPEAT THE PROCESS:


- The game continues as you solve each riddle,
navigate to the corresponding locations, and scan
the QR codes to progress further.
- With each level, the riddles become more
intricate, requiring keen observation and analytical
skills to unravel.

TEAM COLLABORATION:
- Work collaboratively with your team members to tackle
the challenges efficiently.
- Pool your collective knowledge and expertise to crack
the riddles and conquer the treasure hunt together.

4) Scoring System and Hints:


- Earn points by successfully solving riddles scattered
throughout the campus and nearby areas.
- The score for each riddle will gradually decrease over
time until it stabilizes at a minimum value of 250 points.
- Utilize hints to aid your progress, with three hints
available for each riddle.
- However, accessing hints incurs a penalty of -50
points per hint used.

5) RANKING AND TIEBREAKER:


-Teams will be ranked based on their total accumulated
score throughout the event.
- In the event of a tie in total scores between two or more
teams, the tiebreaker will be determined based on the
cumulative time taken by each team to solve the riddles.

6) PRIZES:
- The top three teams will be awarded exciting prizes as
recognition for their achievements in the DCCxGDSC'S
Treasure Hunt.

7) FAIR PLAY:
- Uphold the principles of fair play and academic integrity
throughout the event.
- Any instances of cheating or unfair practices will result
in immediate disqualification.

- The event will exclusively take place within the NIT
Agartala campus and its immediate vicinity.
