FOUNDREE POLICY

2024-25

Admission and Enrollment

Please submit the below in the first week:


Admission form completed in all aspects:

All About Me form completed in all aspects.


One photocopy of the birth certificate.
One photocopy of the residential proof.
2 latest passport size photographs of the child.

Fees

Request you to ensure the first installment of fees is paid before the 25th
of April 2024.
Fees must be paid before the due date. In case of late payment, a penalty
per day will be charged post 10 days of the overdue date.

Withdrawal

Fee paid is not refundable either wholly or in part. And the school will be
entitled to the fee for the entire year even if the withdrawal of the child
is mid-year.

Holidays

The school functions from Monday through Friday.


Please refer to the school holiday list for other holidays.
Arrival and Departure

It is very important for your child that you are on time for dropping
him/her off in the morning. It is unfortunate when children miss out on
exciting activities. We would also request you to pick your child from
school at the right time.
If someone other than the designated person picks your child, the school
must be informed in advance by writing. The person will also be asked to
produce the parent’s ID card.
Departure delays of more than 15 mins and / or more than 3 times month
will be charged as DC fee.

Attendance and Reporting Absence

Regularity and punctuality are important elements of the school program.


Attendance is taken daily in each classroom.
In case of absence of more than 2 days, the school needs to be informed
by a letter or email regarding the nature of illness and how many days
the child is likely to miss school or any other reason why the child will not
be able to attend school.

First Aid and Emergency Procedures

Level 1: In case of a minor injury or health concern first aid will be


administered immediately and parents will be intimated at the end of
the school.
Level 2: In case of an injury or health concern where the child might be
required to be taken home, first aid will be administered and parents will
be notified immediately afterward so that the child can be taken home.
Level 3: In case of an emergency like serious health concerns the child will
be rushed to the on-call pediatrician or physician or hospital and the parents
will be notified at the earliest once the child has received appropriate
medical attention. Our priority in such situations is to first ensure that the
child receives appropriate medical attention.
It is important that parents should share the child’s medical history with
the Centre head.
Emergency and Disaster Information

In case of a disaster such as natural or man-made calamities children will


be supervised at school until a parent or an emergency contact person
picks up the child.
Emergency Contact Information – For your child’s safety, it is critical that
you keep contact names and numbers up to date. If your child needs you,
the school will want to be able to contact you or your designated
emergency contact as soon as possible.

School Communication

You can meet teacher/principal after school on all the Friday’s by taking the
prior appointment. Appointment can be taken by calling either the school
phone or by sending a written note with the child. In case of emergency
please call school phone number.
Any communication related to medicine to be written in the communication
book as well as a mail to be sent on the school email ID.
School will share important notices with the parents via mail or Foundree
App or WhatsApp.
WhatsApp broadcast group/s are made for strictly sending notices to
parents by the school authorities.
Should there be a need for school to be closed on any given date due to
weather conditions or any other unavoidable circumstances, a message
will be circulated via the class network chain.

Field Trips

Preschool Children may have field trips to various points of interest through
out the year. These trips are planned to expand the children's learning
experience. The school will provide you with the notification of each trip
at least 2 days in advance.
Parent will need to sign a consent letter before sending the child on
a field trip.
In case of any medical condition, we request you to avoid sending the child
for field trips or school.
Birthday Celebrations

Children love to celebrate their birthday with their special school friends.
Each child's birthday is made special in school.
Parents can send an eggless cake without cream and fondant, small
chocolates can be distributed.
Children are allowed to come in comfortable party clothes on their
respective birthday.
No return gifts would be given to the other children in the class or center.
Please note, we also give space to conduct birthday parties in school.
You can enquire the same with the CH/ACH.

Preschool Meals

To encourage kids for healthy snacking, please avoid sending junk food.
The school provides meals overseen by a nutritionist for children enrolled
for the integrated programme. These are freshly cooked meals following
an expertly designed menu made keeping in mind children’s nutritional
requirements and enjoyable taste.

Uniform/Dress Code

All students must come to school in clean dress.


Nails must be kept short and clean, without nail polish of any kind.
Hair - Boys - regular short haircut and Girls - Neatly tied in a ponytail or
headband of white in colour.
Shoes - Please send your children with comfortable Velcro.
Shoes/floaters that they can wear and take off on their own or with
minimum help.
Please ensure all articles like raincoats, bottles, bags, tiffin, etc should be
labelled.
No gold or silver jewellery to be worn by children.

Parent/Teacher Meetings

Parent/Teacher meetings will be held on the 2nd Saturday of every month.


Compulsory attendance by any one parent.
Parents are requested not to bring their child for these meetings.
Do not hesitate to discuss any issue that affects or is likely to affect the
wellbeing of your child while he/she is at our preschool, however please take
an appointment for such conversations with the preschool class teacher.
Parental Involvement

We are interested in developing a close relationship with our preschooler’s


family. Changes in the house such as new siblings, grandparents can affect
the behaviour of the child please notify the teacher about these changes.
Please update your telephone number and address in case of any changes.

Some Guidelines for Parents

Ensure that your child is regular and punctual.


If a child is sick, please be considerate and keep him/her at home until
his/her wellbeing.
Valuable articles must not be brought to school; the school will not be
responsible for the loss of these articles.
CCTV recordings will not be handed over to parents for security purposes,
you may request to see it during school hours.
The school values your wholehearted participation in the school functions
conducted by the school in the interest of your child.
During long holidays more then 2-3 days, daycare fees to be paid for the
extra hours availed.

We look forward to a healthy and friendly participation from the parents for
the academic year of 2024-25.
