At the end of the lesson, the students shall have:

b. Explained the benefits of recreational activities; and
c. Appreciated the importance of indoor and outdoor recreational activities for
healthy lifestyle.

1. Ask the students to get 1 whole sheet of paper
2. Let the class read a case study in the box, and have them encircle the
words that shows active movement and underline the inactive movements
skills that they find.
Guide Question:
1. How many words that shows active movement skills?
2. How many words that shows inactive movements?
3. Which movement has more benefits to give?

B. Analysis
Ask the following:
1. From the activity you had earlier, how will you differentiate active movement
from inactive movement skills?
2. Have you done or experienced the active and inactive movements that you
answered in the activity?
3. Do you actively participate in any physical or recreational activities? Can you
name some?
4. What do you think is the connection of active and inactive movements to
indoor and outdoor recreational activity?
