the left and the right sides of the furnace body, as well as the top.
More than 20cm’s interspace (15cm in back wall) shall be left to
keep good ventilation.
3.Keep away from strong magnetic material and electrical appliance
with magnetism to avoid heating efficiency reduction caused by
magnetic field interference inside of the furnace.
4.Power supply is AC 220V/50Hz. Earth connection shall be
confirmed by wireman since imperfect earth connection may cause
machine breakdown. Earth resistance is less than 4 ohm.
Independent regulated power supply over 4000W shall be equipped,
with the voltage fluctuation less than 10V.
5.Be close to fuming cupboard and other ventilating devices.
6.The required operating temperature is 0 ℃ ~ 40 ℃ and the
humidity 10~85%. The best operating temperature is 20℃ ~25℃
and the humidity 40~60%.
7.Install exhaust duct before using.
Open-package inspection
1.Seal off the transport case carefully.
Notes: keep instrument packing cases for later transportation.
2.Lift up the instrument with at least two persons and place it on the
experiment table. Check instrument and its components according
to packing list. Please contact retailer or manufacturer if there are
any mistakes, incomplete or abnormal components.
Special Warning
1. Please read this manual carefully for safety and smooth
experiment. When the user is not familiar with similar instrument,
foundation training is required.
2. The actual number of digestion tank shall consist with the set
value of digestion program. Error shall be less than 2 tanks.
3. Perchloric acid is prohibited using digest samples

If the door is opened or not been fastened tightly, the prompt shown
in 2.7.1 will appear and the next operation will be prohibited. You
can only operate by clicking turnplate rotating key on Hanon
Methods Interface (refer to Figure 2.3.1). The prompt will disappear
when the door is closed.

2.7.2 Prompt of COT abnormal
The system will stop working automatically if there is an abnormal
sound in the furnace chamber and the prompt window will appear to
guarantee the safety of experiment, just as shown in 2.7.2. Please
check the reason of abnormal sound and eliminate potential safety
hazard. (ECO type without this feature)Click any key to start after
confirming the safety.

2.7.3 Prompt of temperature sensor fault
(1) If the joint of temperature sensor is not inserted properly or
temperature sensor is not installed, the following interface will
appear. The system will not continue under such condition and all
the interface operation will be prohibited until the fault is eliminated.
Figure 2.7.3-1
(2) If the temperature sensor dose not detect temperature change
for a long time (more than 2 minutes), the prompt interface shown in
2.7.3-2 will appear. Please check whether temperature sensor is
inserted into the bottom of temperature drivepipe of reaction tank.

2.7.4 Prompt of voltage fault
If the power voltage exceeds allowed limits, the following alarm will
appear and all the operation will stop until the voltage return to
normal.

2.7.5 Prompt of station sensor fault
After turning on the power switch, the program will initialize and
check position sensor automatically. If the program fails to check
position sensor, the following prompt will appear to prevent the
turnplate from continuously rotating at one direction, or the optical
temperature sensor or pressure pipe will be damaged. All the
operation shall be prohibited if this fault occurs. Please wait for
after-sales personnel to solve this problem.

5. Screw the vent valve to the vent and tighten it to prevent air
leakage.
6. Put the inner tank into a clean and dry outer tank, and then a
subassembly is formed. Install the subassembly to the tank rack.
Rotate the subassembly to make the vent valve face the front part of
the tank rack (marked). Make it accurately directed at the lower part
of the screw and the slot of the elastic sheet, and tighten the
fastening screw on the tank rack by hand firstly and then by torque
spanner. It will must immediately stop when it clicked.
Note: Please confirm that the preset torque of the spanner is 8N·M.
The device cannot be used unless there is a spacer at the bottom of
the tank rack.
7. Put the optical fiber through the screw of pot rack , and insert it
into the bottom of the fiber pipe carefully , and then covered it with
protection cover.
8. The turntable is installed in place with the crankshaft at the bottom
of the device. Connect the pressure sensor to the pressure
connector on the top of the device and make it tightened, and insert
the fixing column on the control tank rack into the slot marked with
“1”. Then, connect the temperature sensor to the optical fiber
temperature connector on the top of the furnace chamber, and
screw the pressure sensor to the pressure connector on the control
tank cap. Finally, make the turntable rotate for 2 or 3 rounds to
ensure the two sensors will not get entangled.

hold firmly the tank rack with one hand to make it directed accurately
at the vent, and turn slowly the vent valve with the other hand in
anticlockwise direction to release the internal pressure. Do not turn
the vent valve in a quick and continuous way, which may otherwise
lead to air bleeding from the thread of the vent valve. After complete
depressurization, disconnect the pressure pipe from the tank cap,
take out the control tank (Note: cover the optical fiber temperature
sensor with a hand to avoid its collision with the upper wall of the
chamber) then take the optical fiber. After the fastening screw is
unscrewed with a spanner, remove successively the subassembly,
the outer tank and the tank cap in a careful and gentle way.
3. It is suggested to depressurize the standard tank in the fume hood,
with one hand holding the tank rack firmly and the other one turn
slowly the vent valve in anticlockwise direction to release the
internal pressure (the vent valve shall direct outwards without
pointing the operator).
Note:
1. Make sure the pressure has been released completely before
removing the inner tank and other related parts, otherwise the acid
will splash, even injure the operator.
2. Do not capsize inner tank to avoid spilling of the substance inside
it.

turntable.
Set the temperature of the digestion procedure to be 170 ℃ , the
ramp time to be 10 min., pressure to be 800 PSI and hold time to be
10min. Then run the procedure.
After completion of digestion, it is not until the temperature falls
below 80℃ that the standard digestion tank can be removed from
the device. It is necessary to unscrew the vent valve firstly to
release pressure and then open the tank cap after complete
depressurization. What’s more, the digestion tank must be opened
in fume hood. When doing this, the operator must wear
anti-corrosion gloves, goggles and a mask. The control tank shall be
removed according to the standard steps.
Transfer the digested sample into a volumetric flask. Rinse the
digestion tank cap and the inner tank with water for 2 or 3 times, and
the cleaning solution shall also be transferred into the volumetric
flask to fix its quantity for measurement (Some samples need
removing acid. The method of removing acid is: put the digestion
solution on a hot plate for evaporation until it becomes sticky and
then add distilled water to scale mark of the volumetric flask).
VI. Notes
1. All components of the reaction tank must be dry and free from
contaminants so as to prevent the excessive high temperature and
the damage to the tank as a result of the partial absorption of
microwaves by the tank.
2. Except the TFM inner tank and PFA lid, the cleaning of
components using any organic solvent or acid is prohibited. Do not
use a stiff brush to clean the inner wall of the lid or the tank in case
of scratching the inner wall, otherwise that may result in easier
adsorption of sample as well as the reduction of service life.
3. Prior to use of the digestion tank, soaked in 5% nitric acid is
