A) Introduction

The characteristic properties of a substance that get related to the way it changes its composition or the
way it interacts with other substances, are known as chemical properties and are reflected when the
substance suffers a chemical change.
The process that implies a chemical change where one or more substances are consumed while new
substances are formed is called chemical reaction. Consequently, naming the chemical reactions is
including the chemical properties of substances involved in the change process. In this practice you will
recognize, by experimental evidence, some chemical properties of the substances
