Summary of “The African Orient: Edward Said Orientalism and ‘Western’ Constructions of

 The African Orient explores the Orientalism concept of Edward Said and how it can be

 It highlights how Western scholars, artists, and travelers have exoticized and portrayed
Africa as the “other.”
