RESOLUTION NO. 1

A RESOLUTION FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE SCHOOL’S LEARNER


GOVERNMENT COMEA

WHEREAS, The establishment of the School’s Learner Government COMEA of Albay


Central School recognizes the importance of the LG COMEA in promoting the interest
and welfare of the learners;

WHEREAS, The LG COMEA shall be the governing and implementing commission on


learner government elections and appointment;

WHEREAS, the LG COMEA have demonstrated the principles of good governance,


participatory democracy, transparency, and accountability, in serving the learner
government;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, That the


School’s Learner Government COMEA shall be identified and have their Oath of Office
on June 6, 2023, in accordance with the procedures and guidelines established by
the Department Order (DO) no. 47 s, 2014;

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Learner Government COMEA Chief Commissioner


shall oversee the different LG COMEA Committee and ensure that they will function
according to their duties and responsibilities;

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the LG COMEA shall also function as stated in the
declaration of principles and objectives for the interests and welfare of the learner.

RESOLUTION NO. 2

A RESOLUTION FOR THE POSTING OF OFFICIAL LIST OF CANDIDATE

WHEREAS, The Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) of Albay Central


School recognizes the importance of representative leadership in promoting the
interest and welfare of the learners;

WHEREAS, Posting of official list of candidate for the SELG is an important part of
the democratic process and is founded on the principle of transparency;

WHEREAS, Posting of official list of candidate for the SELG have demonstrated
according to the duties and responsibilities of the LG COMEA Screening and
Validation Committee;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, That the


posting of official list of candidates for SELG shall be held on June 13, 2023 in
accordance with the procedures and guidelines established by the LG COMEA
Commissioner;

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Learner Government COMEA Commissioner on


Screening and Validation shall oversee the posting of official list and ensure that all
qualified candidates are listed;

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the LG COMEA Commissioner on Screening shall post


the official list to the learner government body as soon as possible after the screening
and validation of candidate have concluded.

A RESOLUTION FOR THE CAMPAIGN PERIOD: SETTING OF CAMPAIGN


MODALITY AND GUIDELINES

WHEREAS, The Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) of Albay Central


School recognizes the importance of representative leadership in promoting the
interest and welfare of the learners;

WHEREAS, The campaign period: setting of campaign modality and guidelines for
SELG is an important part of the democratic process as stated in the LG Election and
Appointment Code Article VI;

WHEREAS, The campaign period: setting of campaign modality and guidelines for
SELG have determined by the LG COMEA and in compliant with the allotted period;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, That the


campaign period for SELG shall be held on June 15-21, 2023 in accordance with the
LG Election and Appointment Code Article VI;

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Learner Government COMEA Commissioner shall


oversee the campaign process and ensure that all candidates are afforded equal
opportunities to present their platforms of government and ideas to their fellow
learners;

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the LG COMEA Commissioner on Screening shall


announce the campaign period to the learner government body, as soon as possible
after the official list of candidate was released and posted

A RESOLUTION FOR THE IDENTIFICATION OF POLLING PRECINCTS

WHEREAS, The Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) of Albay Central


School recognizes the importance of representative leadership in promoting the
interest and welfare of the learners;

WHEREAS, The identification of polling precincts for the conduct of election for SELG
is an important part of the democratic process as stated in the LG Election and
Appointment Code Article IV;

WHEREAS, The identification of polling precincts for the conduct of election for SELG
have been determined by the LG COMEA;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, That the


identification of polling precincts for the conduct of election for SELG have
determined by the LG COMEA before the election day;

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Learner Government COMEA Commissioner shall


oversee the identification of polling precincts before election day and ensure that the
place is safe and accessible to all the learner government body;

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the LG COMEA Commissioner on Electoral board shall


announce the polling precincts to the learner government body, as soon as possible
before the election proper starts.
