MDA TIE DOWN STRUCT CALC Pages 1 To 12

The document provides design criteria for tie-down concrete blocks for a military defense project on Guam including references, materials, loads, and foundations. It lists American standards for structural engineering, building codes, and concrete design. Concrete strength is specified at 5,000 psi with reinforcing steel at grade 60. Loads include concrete mass, cable tensile requirements, and safety factors for eye bolts, lifting loops, and wire ropes. Foundations will be on existing surfaces.
