SNC1W Final Exam Review Package

Study Tips
- Organize all of your science notes
- Review all of your tests and quests from the semester
- Start NOW. Our Lab Exam is done so studying for your Science Exam should be your Science
focus. Set a specific amount of time aside each day to do a bit of science. It is more effective to
study little bits at a time rather than trying to cram all at once.
- When going through the review package, write down definitions for all the terms and answers
to the questions. Look up information in your notes or textbook when you come across
something you can’t remember AND to check that your answers are correct.
- Look up information that is difficult or that you don’t remember or missed. You will need more
time to review this material than things that are familiar or easy to you.
- Ask for extra help when you encounter something you do not know.
- Quiz a friend and have a friend quiz you.
- Try to teach your friends and families about science. Or, try to help a friend who’s struggling. If
you can teach it, it means that you really understand it.
- Hopefully you have been working on your studying techniques this semester. Think about what
has worked so far ( and what has not worked….)

Think about the next few days….
