Prelim Assignment No.1 Technopreneurship - ANDRES
Discuss Why
- Yes, being an entrepreneur is one of my biggest dreams. Because here in the Philippines you can’t
succeed working only 8-10 hours a day. You can’t succeed in the Philippines if you only have one source
of income. That’s why when I graduate, I plan to work, save up, and build my own business. There is no
better feeling if you don’t have to follow anyone while working.
2. If yes what could be the possible business that you are planning to have? If no discuss the reason
furtherly.
- Before I come up with the business that I want to build I will do research first. What are the businesses
that are in demand at this time and our current situation? I want my business to be a regular thing to a
lot of people so that I won’t lose my customers.
- When the pandemic hit, I started a small business that targets my neighborhood and family. I sell Eggs,
Cooking Oils, Drinking Alcohol, Leche Flan, and Cassava Cake. Since a lot of people are scared to go out a
lot of people liked my idea. And since eggs and cooking oils are essential my customers became a
regular.
- My parents recently bought a house in our province in Pangasinan. And now they are living there for
good. I noticed that they still don’t have the popular businesses here in Metro Manila like the Sabon
Depot, and Kkopi. I also noticed that the vape shop they have there still not selling disposable vapes
which is very popular now here in Metro Manila.
Sabon Depot is a business that sells different kinds of soaps from dishwashing soap, laundry detergent,
fabric conditioner, dog shampoo, and car shampoo. And the one thing that makes them unique is you
can purchase their product by refilling your old gallons. For me, that is a good idea because you can buy
those kinds of products cheaper because you don’t have to buy the containers anymore. And also you
can help save the planet by reusing plastic containers.
Kkopi is a business that sells coffee and milk teas which are very in demand today. And the best thing
about Kkopi is they only sell their products cheaper than the other coffee shops. You can buy a single
coffee drink for as low as 39 pesos. This kind of business is in demand because you can go with the trend
without spending a lot.
Most of the Vape users here in Metro Manila changed from regular vapes to disposable vapes. For them,
it is easier to use because you don’t need to change the parts of your vape when it burns. The only thing
that you need to do while using disposable vapes is to charge when it is already low battery. And when it
starts to taste burn it is time to throw it away and buy a new one.
These are the possible businesses that I am planning to establish in our province because I think the
people there will enjoy this kind of business just like how people here in Metro Manila enjoyed it.
