Terms & Conditions:

 AMC will be considered effective from the date of receipt of your clear order.
 4 Visits in year will be made by our service person. Other visits will be on chargeable basis.
 Service Tax as applicable as per prevailing rules of govt. will be charged extra.
 Any other statutory levies applicable as per Govt. rules will also be charged extra.
 All the required spare parts should be supplied by you at site. KBL will not be responsible for the delay in
supplying of the material at site after reaching of our engineer at your site.
 Working day will be of 8 hours.
 Payment term: - 100 % advance Quarterly against submission of Proforma Invoice before each visit.
 Validity of our offer will be 30 days only from the date of submission.

1. Visits in a year will be made by our service person with prior intimation.
2. Alignment of pump set will be checked & in case if reqd. rectification will be carried out & readings will be
recorded.
3. Coupling bushes, pins, rubber parts will be checked & will be replaced if reqd.
4. Gland packing will be checked & will be replaced if it is worn-out.
5. Oil levels, & grease in bearings will be checked & replenished if necessary.
6. Current, voltage, Speed, pressure, will be measured & recorded.
7. Discharge will be determined based on Curve of the pump.
8. Noise, vibration & Temperature levels will be checked. (For concurrence)
9. Service engineer will inspect the engine and carryout minor adjustments and repairs if required.
10. Major repairs will be outside the purview of this contract. However, prompt service on chargeable basis
will be rendered in such failure.

Maintenance schedule of engine shall comprise of

a. Run the engine for 10 minutes and check for any abnormal sound and leakages
b. To check electrical connections viz., starter, alternator etc.
c. To inspect condition of lube oil, if required to be changed
d. To replace engine lube oil filters, fuel filter, air filter, etc. Also drain fuel filter bowls, to remove
sediment and water.
e. To check battery electrolyte level and top up with distilled water. Clean terminal and apply petroleum
jelly.
f. To check and tighten all fasteners
g. To check and tighten all hose clips of lube and fuel connections
h. To check the engine starting panel

 This contract does not mean that we will maintain the engine and system. Regular maintenance is to be
carried out by you as per the Operating & Maintenance Manual and our Engineer’s advice and this will be
periodically checked by our representative on his visit. Please note this very importance as simple checks
like checking proper water, lube oil level etc., this can prevent unnecessary failure and serious damage to
the engine
 Following repairs do not fall under the preview of this Service Contract:
a. Top / Major overhauling of the engine & pump.
b. Replacement of Cylinder Head, Piston, Piston Rings, Cylinder Liner etc.
c. Calibration of injectors & overhaul of fuel Injection Pump.
d. Repairs to electrical accessories fitted on the engine. Viz., self-starter, generator/dynamo for charging,
voltage regulation, batteries, etc.
e. Repairs to Governor, Turbocharger, etc.

f. Cleaning of radiator and cooling systems.
g. Catastrophic failure.

 Customer should keep all the consumables in stock prior to this contract.
 M.O.M. will be made after every visit.
 If an overhaul required, offer for the same will be submitted to you along with normal parts needed to be
replaced.
 Dismantling of pumps will be done, after acceptance of our offer & availability of spare parts at site.

B) Salient features.

 On job training will be provided to your staff, which will help you to obtain optimum output & life of
equipment.
 Necessary technical literature will be provided to you for upgradation & trouble free operation of
equipment.
 Assist to finalize maintenance schedule of the pumps.

C) General terms:

 Obtaining work permit /license if necessary from Govt. authorities will be your responsibility.
 Necessary insurance of labors working at site & machinery must be arranged by you prior to
commencement of the work.
 KBL should not be held responsible for any production loss, due to non-availability of equipment under
maintenance.
 Any statement in writing by our representative only will be binding on us.
 Suitable decent accommodation, boarding & transport are to be arranged for our Rep. in case no alternative
arrangements are available at site
 Lifting tools (cranes), water, electricity, and man power is required to be arranged by you.
 Procurement of spares & consumables like oil, grease, gland packing will be your responsibility.
