Verify the gluster role is added to the ovirtmgmt network.

On the KVM host, glusterd has to be enabled and running.

#systemctl enable glusterd

#systemctl start glusterd

Firewall rules have to be enabled to allow the glusterfs as a service.

#firewall-cmd --add-service glusterfs --permanent

Restart the vdsm and supervdsm services for the additions of glusters service to be in effect on the KVM host.

#systemctl restart vdsmd

#systemctl restart supervdsmd

NOTE : If the above step is not performed, the KVM host will switch itself to "Non-operational" state post activating.

Activate the KVM host from OLVM BUI.

1. Creating a gluster bricks (via OLVM BUI)

On the OLVM Manager , Navigate to the Host --> Storage devices --> Click on the disk.

NOTE: It is important that the disk which will be used for creating the brick should not have any existing data or partitions
[including lvm and mpath]. If the disk has any existing filesystem, the "Create Option" will be greyed out. Hence, Please wipe
the filesystems and delete the partitions if any.

Click on "Create brick", the following window appears.

Add the brick name and change the RAID type accordingly.

Select the data center and volume center and type of the volume required.
There are three types of glusterfs volumes currently used in OLVM : Distributed, Replicated and Distributed-replicated.
Click on Add bricks.
Select the host, the bricks should be listed, Add the same.
Repeat the same until the required bricks are added from all the KVM hosts.
