1. Introduction:

o Explain the importance of technology integration in modern education.

The importance of technology in modern education is to help both the student and the
teacher to keep up with latest technological upgrades for education. It prepares
learners to understand better educational contents, as they use technology daily. It
develops essential skills that are lifelong for the students, as well as the teachers. It
improves the teacher’s teaching skills.

o Discuss the benefits of using Moodle or other tools for creating technology-enhanced
lessons.

The benefits of using Moodle or other tools for creating technology enhanced lessons
is that the teacher’s teaching methods are improved, as they gain better skills to be
able to deliver lessons to the students. It provides learners with an opportunity to
participate actively, learn different styles and this improves their grades.

2. Selecting a Subject and Topic:

o Students choose a grade, subject and topic for their technology-integrated lesson.

Grade: 7

Subject: Economic Management Science

Topic: The Economy

o Emphasize the importance of aligning the lesson with relevant curriculum standards.

It helps to ensure equity in education and prepares students for professional and future
academics. It also helps the teacher to ensure that the lesson she has prepared at and
correspond with the relevant curriculum standards, this will ensure that the teachers
delivers the correct lesson at the correct curriculum standards.

3. Identifying Learning Objectives:

o Students define clear and measurable learning objectives for their lesson.

1.Remembering: Students will be able to remember the meaning of EMS.

2.Understanding: Students will be able to understand how the economy works in different
sectors.

3.Applying: The students will be able to review different techniques used in the economy
e.g. Factors of productuction

4.Analysing: Students will be able to analyse the economy using the circular flow

5.Evaluating: Students will be able to use circular flow to evaluate possible problems in
the economy

6.Creating: Learners will be able to create possible solutions towards the economy once
they have gained the required understanding of the circular flow as well as the factors of
production

o Emphasize the role of technology in helping achieve these objectives.

Technology is a direct link between the teacher, student and objectives. Without
technology the above objectives will not be achieved. Using different learning contents,
lms, educational apps can ensure that these objectives will not be achieved.

4. Technology Tools Exploration:

o Students explore various tools for technology integration, such as discussion forums,
quizzes, assignments, and multimedia embedding.

You are not required to provide an answer but explore tools you will use, see next bullet
point.

o They choose the most suitable tools based on their learning objectives.
